That means you'll be running rich from 16-19psi if your tuning for 20. Plus running that rich at idle is going to make your car a dog. You'll be in the 10s at idle I'm sure. I know you may be lean now but 280s are tiny compared to 565s
I am positive. I have gone through everything over and over. I'm going to try disconnecting the battery and see what happens.could just be a normal problem, but it sounds kind of strange, are you sure all your settings are correct?
I wish the AFC had some sort of LED on it to let you know it's actually powered and working. I just installed mine. The car turns on. My AFR is reading 10 lol, on my AFR gauge. CEL thrown. Almost stalling. I bought it off a guy on the forum here. So who knows what it's tuned to. Well I should, if I could talk to the damn unit. I got the DB-9 to USB adaptor. Drivers installed. Tried every port and it won't connect. I may try another computer tomorrow. When I installed the SSAFC I used connectors on it so I could quickly disconnect it and put it back to stock. Which I did tonight because I need to drive to work tomorrow. Any way. Just wondering if you guys have any pointers on connecting to the ECU. I have windows XP, the R4 software. The usb dongul is about 8inches and I have a 3' DB-9 cable on there. BTW I used 5-pin XLR connectors and made an adaptor cable to connect the SSAFC to the ECU. Took me a long time but I did most of it work. I work with electronics so I got access to the parts and equipment.
put in a knock light. or better yet pick up a J&Shas anyone tried hooking up one of there logging sections to the Knock sensor, or some where in the ignition to be able to log timing.
i have a feeling that im getting some knock and i want to be able to log the knock count. if anyone has any information please le me know.
So just an update for those who remember. I was having all sorts of issues with the 440's and trying to tune in vaccuum. SO turns out that I dont even have to tune vaccuum. The reason I did initially was because I didnt reset the ECU when I put the injectors in. The car pulls the fuel beautifully throughout the vaccuum range, idle is awesome and everything. Only thing iffy is warm/ cold starts, but that will get better the more the ECU learns the setup. Ill start tuning in boost as soon as I get my new boost guage and maybe post up a map for those who are running a T3/T4 turbo
