After market head unit

Yes you can run an amp off of you stock non bose stereo.

Just hook up the remote turn on wire from the amp to either a switch (which I chose not to because if you accidently leave it on there goes your battery), or pop out one of the fuses under the glove box for an accessory that is only on with the key in the on position such as the cigarette lighter (that's what I used) and wrap the wire around it (of course after you stripped off 1/4" or so) then put the fuse back in with the wire around it.

After that you'll need a LOC which you plug into your left and right rear speakers then to the amp.

Other then those to things go about the amp install the same way you would any other.

.

Or not ghetto-rig it and use one of these on a wire that comes out the back of the fusebox for a ACC-on-only item.

Well yeah that works to. It hidden so I don't see what it matters if its "ghetto rigged". I can gauruntee you it wont come off and it works perfectly fine.

finding a power source for the remote shouldn't be a problem. I was wondering if the stock head unit has RCA out puts.
So explain LOC. Is that basicly what I run my RCA cables from?

You run your back speaker wires to it. So both left and right rear speaker wires to it then there are rca outputs that you run to you amp input. Its what hooks up your stereo to the amp and subs if you don't have a place to plug in subs.
