What have you done to your MSP today?

I install a unichip last night without the boost controller, and colder plugs.

Also slapped some hella horns behind the grill.

Sounds like a lot of weight going in the back, prepare to have even more traction issues.

yeah i know, but also love the sound system to have nice loud but clear bass.. I know my car is going to be slower but at this point all i want is to have a nice sound system.. Probably 6 12's will be a little bit to much, but definitely 4 is what I'm going to do... any suggestions or any pictures you can share of what i do in the trunk ?

btw neox are you runnin 10 psi with no ems?

yea, it ran great (a/f ratios were reading 10 on my wideband when in boost)

but last night I spun a bearing, so looks like its going to be down again for a while

f*cking a man, one of these days I'll get this damn car finished...

Wow, sorry to hear that from you buddy... what Pistons and Rods are you running ? you also said you were running a 28RS at 10 psi ?

pauter rods and cp pistons (9.0:1) with a t3/t4 at 10 psi

used to have a gt28, but it was only temporary cause I needed a turbo after my stocker blew until I got the t3/t4 kit entirely together and the 28 was almost the same price as the stocker lol

Quick question, why 9.0:1 Compression ?

because I did not see the justification for running 8.5, and I wasn't going to be running an engine management for a while...I didn't wanna have to deal with the motor running crappy by messing with the compression ratio in the mean time

oh ok.. you have no EMS but you are running 10 psi on a T3/T4 turbo ? what injectors ? any pictures of your setup ?

waiting for my microtech to get back from australia for reprogramming lol

so yea, stock tune at 10 psi....stock injectors

I forgot to pull the pics I took this weekend of the engine off the camera though, but I'll have pics of it next weekend

I'll be running 550cc injectors with the microtech....my goal is 20 psi with methanol injection, but I don't think I can reach that with 550s so we shall see where I end up at that point

ahhh ok the rod bearings arent supposed to move they are supposed to stay stationary and when we say spun bearing we mean that the bearing has become dislogded and usually spins on top of the other bearing causing the rod knock sound and usually if you dont catch it in time it eats up your bearings and puts metal shavings in your oil

It can also score the crank, which is bad. I spun and replaced mine earlier this year. Luckily no crank damage and I was able to leave the motor in the car to do the new bearings. I used Clevite 77s
