oh easily
I hit 200whp on the stock turbo/manifold/downpipe at 10 psi, 250 can be had very easily on the t28
but around 250 I'd recommend upgrading the manifold to see better gains...you see only around 10 hp (from what I've heard) with the steedspeed on basically stock engine parts, but once you get higher in the horsepower range with the t28 at a higher boost level then youll see better gains out of upgrading the manifold at that point
it would be worth it at that horsepower range, but whether or not its worth it at your current horsepower range is a matter of personal oppinion lol
if cost is a factor: no
if it isn't: yes

tbh i dont see me really getting that much gain out of it even with the t28. i like my mazdaspeed heat sheild lol. Only time ill ever upgrade it is if it cracks. The steedspeed mani is ok i just dont really like how it looks in the engine bay

btw neox are you runnin 10 psi with no ems?
i agree there are parts that are not worth the money. but arent you contradicting yourself by buying the 505zoom manifold?

hmmm 10 hp vs almost 30 yea i think ill stick with 505's mani
lol whatever man. im not bashing the 505zoom manifold at all. but for one, there are no dyno tests. and 2 you can get a PNP 626 mani for half the price.
NO, it wont perform as well as the 505 zoom manifold, but then that goes back to your same argument, spend more money on only a little gain.
and rich even gained like 25 whp with the MAM manifold....

ive had a 626 mani and i didnt notice any gain to be honest i have another friend who said the same thing.
well i have a 626 mani and i easily noticed a gain. but i guess all the manifolds were made differently. also had a few people notice a difference, but that is besides the point.
i like the new intake rich made. i would have bought it if it came out a year ago.
but you argue there are mods that you do not need to reach your goal (i.e. they are not worth the money).
well you dont NEED the 505 manifold to reach your goals. its just another mod that will complement your setup, just like a larger downpipe and a higher flowing exhaust manifold would.

True but to be honest i think youll see more gains from a intake manifold like that then you ever will from a exhaust mani.

i didnt argue that i didnt need the mod i just said in my opinion that much money for a 10hp gain wasnt worth it to me
hopefully his manifold will have huge gains. im not arguing what mods have more gains. just seemed like an odd comment coming from someone who buys tons of bolt-ons to support his setup. Not that they are an absolute must, but help with the end result.

tbh i dont have alot of boltons i have a fmic, intake,3" exhaust and a ported stock intake mani thats it. as far as bolton power adders o and the 28rs

Hi there, hey folks im trying to do my sound system but i need ideas, any pictures of custom sound systems in a Protege ? I want to do a 4 or 6 12s Subs, but i dont know exactly how i wanted in the trunk, got my amps, EQ, Electronic crossover, 3 Farad Cap, etc... any pictures or ideas for some layouts in the trunk to do this ?

nah. i had 4 12s and that sounded just to good to come back to 2 subs... plus i want to do this Sound System a little different because after I'm done with performance, i want to do my sound system to participate in shows and competitions with my car in here. just remember i dont daily drive this car anymore

Sounds like a lot of weight going in the back, prepare to have even more traction issues.
