That is correct thats why you can sit at the line for 2 hours if you want and still get a 14 second time.

In heads up racing thats what happens when they call it a hole shot win. The actual faster car (time wise) slept at the light and got beat to the finishline.

well here are my slips, i went a week ago and i am going back next friday to try to hit 13's with my setup
 
I don't have a slip, but my time is in my sig. I will post my slip next time i go back to the track :-)
 
I don't mean to be a dick but the only way ure time is being posted is if its in the correct format so I just copy paste it, and if it has a slip for proof

wow great time! need to follow you out there sometime. i'm in fort worth. i've never dragged before and could use some of practice.

waiting for slip, i assume u meant TBE. Its a great time, how are u shifitn on your 1'2 cause your 1/8th is really fast for a low trap speed, and so is your 1/4.
 
Updated my post above with the slip. And I really mean DBE. I have the Vibrant exhaust so I'm still on the stock downpipe. I powershift @ 5k on the 1-2 shift.
 
thats a sweet time for so little mods. My 1-2 shift is what screws me up cause i just spin to much. Its wierd how we have pretty close 60, pretty close times, but i out trap you. This means i simply loose time when i shift.

My thinking is to get out of 1st gear as fast as possible. The ratios on our trannies are so close together I found I can only do a long 1st and short 2nd, or short 1st and long 2nd. Since 2nd gear puts more power to the ground, it wins. I'm also shifting at 56-5700 on the 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5. (drive2)

Your car definitely has more power than mine, so you should be trapping higher than me. The Vibrant did add some peak hp, but not very much over the CAI. I noticed a big difference in midrange power tho. Too bad the track is closed for the season around here, but I can't complain too much. 2 weeks ago was gonna the last day and I at least got to see the difference the Vibrant makes. I feel like I'm only 1 mod away from 12's Not bad for a FWD car on street tires with nothing removed for weight savings. Imagine if our cars weren't power limited in 1st and 2nd and didn't suck from a dig :eek:

30psi at the track, 40psi on the street.
