leaky egr

yeah so is it that bad?

when i put on my header the egr didnt go on right and i just gave up and screwed it on, but now it leaks, its been that way for about a month

someone else on the forum said i could patch it with teflon tape and someone else on another forum said teflon tape wouldnt work, so, wtf should i do,
leave it alone or fix it?
and how can i fix it?

umm..so you screwed it on wrong? besides maybe some vac lose, if your egr pipe is loose on the header it prob wont do too much....maybe your idles will be wierd?

yeah i think i might have cuz we couldnt unscrew the bolt or nut or whatever that thing is called, it was pretty stuck

i think the jet hot stuff was what made it not fit on good
