2013 CX-5 2.0L Leaking oil into coolant

Hey, I have a 2013 Mazda cx-5 2.0 L. I took the car on the highway and it overheated so I stopped and went home. A week later it overheated again with oil bursting from the coolant reservoir!
I went to mechanics and they all just said head gasket new engine, but i want to know the problem and have a shot at fixing the engine.
I have drove the car 1500 km sense and it hasn’t overheated but the oil keeps building up in the radiator and coolant tank.
I cannot find any examples whatsoever online and nobody will do any tests on the car around here.
The oil is fine, it just leaves the engine into the cooling system so I have to keep it very topped up.
Has anyone seen this before or know anything I can do to diagnose this? I’m confused! Please help!!!

If you can help it at all, I recommend not driving the car again. If oil is getting into your coolant, then coolant is getting into your oil. This is very bad and will quickly ruin your engine. Sorry :(

There's an old saying, "If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a blown head gasket."!!!

Laughed at this thank you, but I’m afraid I’m going to pull the head off and see 0 damage

There's another old saying "s*** Happens!" And besides, you (or someone) have to pull the head off anyway in order to change the head gasket...because that's what's wrong! (See post #4 above^^^):giggle:

Im just looking for another example of a 2.0 ever doing this or anyway to know it’s blown without pulling the head off.

When I drain the oil there’s nothing in it though
That's because (in spite of what post #3 says) there is a good chance the gasket is blow in a way that allows oil into the coolant, but not coolant into the oil.

I heard it’s rare so I’m not sure if it’s possible so I’m trying to find examples of it, my mechanic told me to buy a lottery ticket.
They also named a few other possibilities but there’s no info.
I really don’t want to have to pull the head if you can’t tell 🥲
