Sounds like my truck. I had to replace the vacuum lines that were coming off of the IAC valve and the throttle body and now it starts properly.

Quick test on the IAC valve:

With the car running: Quickly turn the car off and back on again. The rpms should jump up when you turn the key back to the on position.

That's awesome. My wife HATES driving my car for this reason. She claims the stock clutch is too stiff. Wait until this car eventually becomes a project car and a spec clutch replaces the stock.

The MSP clutch is nothing compared to a MR2 turbo clutch.

I had the dead head unit.

I had the exhaust pipe snap between the first and second cat.
