xDJ DUBx's 03.5 Pure White LX-T

yea so i thought i was running 12psi but for some reason my boost never stays the same
my brother was in the car when i hit 10psi so i know for sure i was running 10 but now that i turned it up i cant get past like 6

does temp have a big effect on how much psi you can run? it was a bit warmer today

yea thats what i was thinkin...
i think i have a vac leak somewhere AGAIN, i need some freakin money so i can buy a pressure tester for my IC pipes

my idle is great but for some reason it stays at 1.5k for a few seconds before dropping back to normal idle

For future reference, does it matter where the WB bung goes? I was going to put it right where the second cat is that way the wire comes out the firewall and goes straight down, plus I could get my high flow cat welded in at the same time, is this too far from the motor?

this is what it says in the instructions. so where you want it to go might be a problem cuz its gotta go before cats

""A weld-in M18 X 1.5 boss is supplied for sensor installation. Mount the O2 sensor in the exhaust system at least 18 inches downstream from the exhaust port. If you anticipate high EGT's (over 800C), run a turbocharger, run at high RPM for extended periods of
time or plan on running leaded race fuel then you must mount the sensor at least 36 inches or more downstream of the exhaust port as all of these can cause the sensor to overheat. On turbocharged engines the UEGO sensor must be installed after the turbo charger, if not, the pressure differential will greatly effect the accuracy of the unit. For accurate readings, the sensor must be mounted before catalytic converters and/or auxiliary air pumps. To prevent collection of liquids between the sensor housing and sensor element during the cold start phase, the installation angle should be inclined at least 10 towards horizontal with the electrical connection upwards, see below.""

it mounts pretty much the same as a stock o2 jist screw the o2 into the bung and tighten lol ... the 10 degree towards horizontal jist means not to mount it goin straight up and down.. you gotta have a slight angle on it jist incase condisation builds up etc..

Ah ok, gotcha. cool.

And with the ssafc, do you really need to hook up the vac line or is that just for certain cars or just an option? etc etc?

think about it... the tune adjusts the fuel map by pressure.. you think it might need to see how much boost is being made?

I'm new to it so I don't completely understand the workings yet but ok, I'll have to T off another vac source or something until I get a vac block, thats gonna be the 5th vac source I need.

what do you need another vac source for the ssafc??? your gonna need that to tune so it has to be hooked up.. try to find a vac block itll be worth it

it has a vac line sticking out of it

and when I briefly read over it, I seen it was a vac line to tape into the system cause I thought maybe it was just a breather hose or something at first.
