I have parts to have 10 kits made . I need them welded and i need to get the studs retreaded to M6 on the CNC so that it bolts right in the fender hole . I may just wait a month and get all the brackets laser cutted and tig welded . I would need a bare minimum of 15 orders to keep the cost down . All think about it .
Ok I'm back because I can't sell my P5 because it's sucking up a qt of oil every 1k miles. I've asked Redline Tuning if they make a hood prop kit for the P5 and here is Brian's reply:
Hello,
We do have plans for this vehicle, however, we do not have one released at this time - we will email you once it is available.
Thanks,
Brian

I think this is just his way of saying no.
They currently have two different kits for the Mazda3. Their Elite kit looks really nice. Their site is down at this moment and I can't remember the prices but the less expensive kit was about $100.
I've never deal with them before. I found them when I was looking for a hood prop kit for my turbo spyder. If there is enough interest they might come up with a kit.
just make one yourself- it is far from hard. Take a good look at how other kits are constructed, go get some angle iron from Lowes, and duplicate what you see. You can look at some pics of them installed, and compare known distances (say- the length between the two hood bolts) with the distances you see to find out the measurements. you can buy the gas shock at an autoparts store. This really isn't that hard if you use your imaginiation a bit. i did... (i'd post pics, but it looks exactly like everyone else's hood prop kit.)
