Wrecked The Mazda!!

Just out on my lunch break today and got hit!! The officer didn't cite anyone for the accident and said that the insurance companies can figure it out. It was definetally the other drivers fault...it's tough to explain what happened but here are some pics of the damage...bottom of the drivers door and drivers side passenger door. My insurance company said that they would pay to have it fixed and then try to get the money from her company and if not my rates will not go up...which is very very very very good news...but hopefully the woman's insurance will pay.

It must be a Cincy area Titanium speed thing to keep getting hit lol. I got hit for the 3rd time not to long ago. Hopefully you get the car back and better than ever.

Yeah i'm taking it in for an estimate tomorrow morning...if you look at the pic w/ the door open you can see that it dented the hell out of the frame on the inside of the door. It seems to me like that is going to be a really expensive part to replace. i'll post tomorrow when i get the estimate...i'm really bummed b/c i'm leaving for school in about a week and a half and probably won't be able to take the MSP w/ me depending on how soon I can get it fixed. (sad2)

Alright just got the estimate...$4400...car repairs are expensive!...anyways my insurance is covering it - my $1000 deductible...just want to get it fixed asap!!

Since no one was cited for the accident and i filed a claim against the woman who hit me she has filed a claim against me. and to top things off she works for her insurance company...liberty mutual. i have a better argument than she does though so hopefully she will have to pay!! i just want my car fixed!! i learned a lesson though...if you ever witness an accident at least leave your number w/ whoever was involved...had anyone done that for me my car would probably be fixed already.

what is her name? she might be my claims rep for my accident lol. How funny would that be. The lady that hit me has Liberty Mutual so I have been dealing with them a bunch

The exact same thing happened to me not to long ago, same side of the car and the same deal with the insurance company. I was turning left into a Mcdonalds parking lot and this older woman was coming out of the parking lot and ran down my drivers side. I asked how in the hell she didn't see me and she said she wasn't paying attention even told the sheriff see didn't see me. Well, when it came time for the insurance claim which I was trying to get her company to pay for her story changed big time. Her adjuster came out to look at my car and even said the he believes she hit me judging from the angle of the impact.

wow that damage looks identical to the side of my car...you remember how much it was to fix it? i've gotten 2 completely different estimates. $4400 and $1700. the second one was w/o replacing the rear door (just pounding out the dents and re-painting) and a couple of other half assed repairs.

yeah i'm going to get a 3rd estimate before i decide who to go w/...if her company has to pay i'm getting it done by the mazda body shop ($4400) haha
