Winter tires question

Mazda CX-5
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if you guys can help answering my problem.
So I just bought a 2015 Mazda CX-5 AWD with 18" sized wheels.
I own a set of winter tires which was previously used on my 2005 Acura TSX. I notice the bolt pattern of the rims for TSX and CX-5 is the same. And so, I was wondering would they fit on my CX-5 and is it safe to do so.

The specification of the winter tires are the following:

Bridgestone winter tires 215/50 R 17"

Ric, unless you put custom wheels on it, your CX-5 has either 17" or 19" wheels. I am not sure whether the TSX wheels will fit, but a 215/50 17 tire is more than 3 inches smaller in diameter than the stock tires. They might fit, but you'll be an inch and a half lower to the ground, your speedometer reading will be way off, and you'll be turning a lot more revs at highway speeds. I wouldn't do it.
