Winter tires and tpms

Any reason why you went 17' rather than 18"

Money. Wanted to get the best bang for my buck. We were very satisfied withy the decision we made.

I wanted to let you guys know that I just received my winter tire/wheel setup from the TireRack today. Looks great. I bought the Winterforce snows and 17" wheels. They fit fine just like they said. These tires will definitely get my wife through just about anything. I can't say enough about all my buying experience I have had with them. I hope this helps someone with their decisions.

did you buy the TPMS setup or did you go without (if w/o, what did you do about the light given the various suggestions others have mentioned to include black tape) ...

No, I didn't buy the tpms. I didn't do anything about the light either. It is my wife's car and it didn't bother her at all. Plus, like I said, I saved a good buck by not installing them.

cool, good to know...so the light just lights up, stays lit up for the months that the winter set up is on, and turns off again once the TPMS setup is back on?

That is correct

The procedure to reset TPMS is simple.
It is like ...
"start the engine and drive for 15 minutes."
It is very natural.
Our TPMS does not recognize the individual location of each sensor. That makes the tire rotate much easier.
