hmmmmm.......does iTunes have it's own player for MP3's or is it part of the "buy music online" software that you have to download? I still buy all my music on CD and then just rip it onto my Linux server so I can get at it from my laptop or my MP3 players.
iTunes is its own player, ripper, burner, online d/ler, file organiser... it is everything a all in one player should be.... and its FREE!!!!! atleast give it a shot at http://www.apple.com/itunes/
cool i can use my old skins...and it doesnt run like horsepoo...lookin good so far....as long as the RANDOM is truely random (unlike 2.x where youd hear the same song every 20 plays or some s***), ill be happy
wow, I just tried iTunes and all I can say is HOLY SUCKFEST!!! I didn't even bother with trying out their player functions cuz I did a music search and nothing from my fave bands is even available. Can you say "UNINSTALLED" ??? Downloading Winamp5 right now.
so far WA5 is working great for me, no slowdowns or any of the s*** associated with WA3. nullsoft didnt fuxor the pooch this time! woo! ill stick with 5 now. thanks for the headsup.

dude, I've NEVER used it to d/l music... I get mine else where and from legal means... but the player is golden.. that is what I meant. I'm sure the d/ler does suck, but like I said, I've never even tried to use it.

oh....gotcha man. I'm really partial to Winamp cuz I've been using it since their very 1st release so if the new version 5.0 sucks then I might try that iTunes player again......
