who wants a side mount ic?

Well its just that the intercooler is so out of the way of fresh oncoming air, being on the side and all, so if it were possible to divert some directly onto the intercooler, that woule be nice.

Ive been thinking about that one for a long time too -

It would have to be mounted behind the plastic grills and direct more air to the intercooler-

Should work ok - the theory is right -

It would direct more than just air if it were made out of some type of metal. I can think of alot of stuff i wouldnt want running up some metal tubing into my IC core....

so wicked, whats the deal? you gonna grab that amm/av status? sounds like a good amount of people are interested. also, did you determine if the smic would bolt up to the stock piping route? i was talking to my dealer about installation, and the moment i said that it would bolt up to the stock piping, they said that there probably wouldnt be any kind of warranty issues.

this sounds very interesting espacially if it will mount in stock and use stock pipes and still work better then stock, im interested and dying to see what happens.
