Where in Michigan?

shucks, new MI members are always from the east side :(

sry- i don't know of places on the east side :(

So how about west side? Because i used to go there. I found a shop on 8 mile rd and van dype. they change me 200 for changing header and exhaust system. Is that a good deal or not?

When Pat says "west side", he means the west side of the STATE, not the west side of Detroit.

$200 doesn't sound horrible. I wouldn't pay it but I do all my own work.

Do you need custom exhaust work or just a kit installation? If it's just installing parts, I'll do it for less than $200.

Hey Coolman, where in Ferndale are you? I live in Ferndale too, just off Woodward on Drayton (across the street from Tony's Sports Bar). To answer your question though, there is a shop called Autowerks in Madison Heights. It's on the 696 service drive just eat of John R. They specialize in doing custom work on sport compacts and seem to charge pretty fair prices.

BTW, are you the silver P5 with wheels and exhaust that I've seen on Cambell?

What's up? Dude. I live in 696 and campbell. My car is Black with wheels and JDM taillight. Thx for your answer. By the way, Do you know that how much does the shop charge for changing header and extuast system. In addition, which extuast system would you think better?

Cool, don't think I've ever seen your car around before. Anyways, I'm not really sure how much they would want to do that work. Just call them up, they're pretty cool to talk to. They should be able to just give you a quote over the phone. As for which exhaust to go with, I'm having the same dilemma myself. If you want something that looks simple and not with a big ricer tip on it, go with the Racing Beat. As for overall performance and looks, I think a lot of people have been happy with the Magnaflow cat-backs.

Hey, I am just up Woodward from you in Berkley. I just had a guy in Warren do a complete exhaust for me (custom) and he did an awesome job. Diamond Fabrication on Groesbeck just north of 9 mile. He does everything and charges very reasonable rates. Let me know if you want the # as I am at work right now and can get it when I go home.

How much did they charge you for it? And I'm assuming it was full cat-back?

Everything Including the cat was $400. Manderal bent 2.5, High Flow ss cat, ss Magnaflow muffler and tip.

Diamond does awesome work.

That's a pretty good deal. Custom installation cheaper than buying the parts alone. Post that phone number when you find it.

Hello, that's very good deal. is yours like racing beat exhuast system because i don't want it too loud. that is what i consider. Anyone give some ideas...! Thx..!

Tell Diamond that Chris Pfeiffer sent you.

Mine came out really well. It has a good amount of rumble but is not too bad.

Tell him what you want and he can do it.

Haha, yeah that was me. I saw you drive by but couldn't get out the door before you were gone.

How are u doing? man! I was going back to home, so i saw your car. And I took a look. Cool...! In addition, Are you going to change the exhaust system? because i am gonna change it in this week.

I'm doing pretty good. You should stop and say hi next time you swing past my place. Yeah, I really want to do an exahust just don't have the money right now and I need to buy new tires first.

Hello, i just a set of tire a month ago. They are Falken Ziex ZE-512
215/40ZR-17 87W. They are pretty good. Try them ...
