Which Cams?

I have been reading a ton about all these different cams. I keep hearing that Corksport sells them as does Mazdaspeed. I also hear they are the FS-ZE cams. So what I am asking is if someone could clear up which INTAKE CAM and which EXHAUST CAM are the best upgrade for our 2.0L engines?

I'm also curious as to what it takes to change these out. Is it fairly easy to reset the timing once these are installed?
Thanks.

oooooooohhhhhhhh cams thats what i want yeah something to make me faster..........

Cams are not going to be your typical bolt in project if you've never replaced them before. I'm guessing they will void the factory warranty as well.

Other than that hammer on and throw the loot down!

I have rebuilt a 1970 VW engine and a 1969 Austin Healey engine. I just wasn't sure how different it would be with all the electronics and stuff they have added to cars since these engines were built. They are different yet the same if you know what I mean.

Well right now you aren't going to find any other cams out there. So if you want to wait to see if maybe something new will come out soon then be my guest. I ordered them and they are going to be delivered to me soon. Corksport said they are just drop in and go and thats including my pistons too. I was quite amazed but i have spoken to others on the mp3 forum who said thats how they did it. I am a tad worried but it should be fine just the gains wont be as good as they can be. That will be done once we are able to time the cams and reprogram the ecu to manage the fuel curve. For now if you want to be somewhat on the safe side and do this get an Apexi S-AFC to help you out.

The exhaust cam actually is mazdaspeed and not off the FS-ZE so it should be better then the FS-ZE cause i think we have the same exhaust cam as the fs-ze but dont quote me on that.

hope this somewhat helps you out
