where to find Custom embroidered leather seats

Those are Katzkin covers. I don't know if Katzkin did the "Protege5" embroidery or if the dealer had it done locally.

awesome, thanks for the info. Turns out that I've already visited an aftermarket shop here in town that is a registered Katzkin dealer/installer. ~LOL~

Thanks JasonH, I was wondering too. Even though that is my car in the other thread, the dealer put the seats in before I bough it. They had the embroidery done by the same shop that did the interior. The sticker said it cost $1995.00 for the whole interior on the car. i will see if I can find out the shop they work with.

i got the same thing.. i went to the dealer looking for a silver p5 auto with cloth interior cus i dont like black leather.. the only auto silver they had was the one with that interior and they wanted a extra 2000 for it.. i was like nah ill buy a car somewhere else.. the guy said what can i do to sell u the car right now. i told him 17000 and the interior for free cus i didnt want it.. boom.. sold.. heh. now im kinda glad i got it.. it is pimp..
just remember it costs the dealer hardly anything for stuff like that.. so if you play it right and they are hungry an need to make a sale. they will give in.

question..

anyone else that has the katzskin seats.. did your car also come with the door panels wrapped like mine did? im just curious.. seen lots of the seats but no shots of the door panels..

Yup, had mine done with a different logo, graphite grey with silver stiching, also have leather on the back of the seats, upgrade, and on door panels, did the installer tell you mothers
conditoner and cleaner only? be very carefull about other leather products out there, most don't list ingredients. mothers has no silicone, silicone can damage leather. got ours six months ago, and had mentioned KATZKIN on here and got no response. very nice upgrade.

Hey gaZOOM ZOOM how much did the leather run ya if you dont mind me asking. Just curious now that I know where to get them done like that, I am looking into getting the black outside, with blue inserts.

Silicones and leather

be very carefull about other leather products out there, most don't list ingredients. mothers has no silicone, silicone can damage leather.

The above comment caused me concern as I have a real phobia about silicones in finishing products.

Since I've been using Meguiar's products for several decades, I wondered about their new Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner. I wrote Meguiar's and asked. According to Evan Regenstreif, of Meguiar's, the above contains no silicones either. Whew, since I have a brand new bottle out in the garage for our new P5.

Hey...I also have the Katz Leather. I dig it. Graphite with Yello stiching. I am hoping that I will be able to post more over the next few weeks.. I have some pics that I would like to eventually send.
