Wheels?

Hi all. I'm new here as I'm sure you've all noticed. Im really considering getting a MS3, however, I don't like the wheels. I was wondering if an RX-8 18 in. wheel would fit on the MS3. My initial guess would be No, but I'm sure most of you would have better insight on this than I. If the answer is no, what would be some prospective alternatives I can look into?

It's time to get rid of the SVT contour and move to something better.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think mazda 3 sedan, sport or MSP 3 should all be the same...i was thinking of putting the RX8 18in on my sedan too...should be ok...i lowered my car with tein...the spacing is kinda tight...but i still think it should be ok...anyway...the stock wheels from MSP3 is not bad...but most of my friends recommended not to get stock wheels...coz they r heavy...so i m now trying to get new wheels...
anyway..that s Just my point of view...i am not an expert...i wanna hear what other ppl say too~

i would think that the rx-8 wheels should fit no problem, honestly though, the pictures of these wheels dont do them justice. They are not flat and boring like the ms6 wheels, take a look at them in person before you make that decision.

I don't like the ten spoke design at all. The car has won me over completely, but I've never liked vehicles with so many spokes. Of course i'm going to take a look at them in person before I make a final decision, but odds are i'm giong to go with something different,

I know that the rx-8 wheels rub on the ms6, but no one has tried them on the ms3. The do fit the standard 3 and the fenders have been widened on the ms3. They should fit, but you never know until you try. someone did weigh the ms3 wheels and there are 25lb, so it shouldn't be hard to find a better wheel than that. Racing heart is also making a gunmetal rim for the ms3 that can be bought from the dealer, but they will probably cost an arm and a leg.
