What have you done to your P5 today?

Did the front barkes and did the ford escape sway bar links. Also had to change out all the wheel studs on the driver front cause they all broke. Steering is very good.

Did a little interior decorating. :)

Havent been on here in forever, not much going on anymore I guess.
Been tuning the car more and more lately, getting it ready for the dyno day on the 27th of this month. Looking for over 300whp and no broken s*** lol

Where can I get SS brake lines that would work with the existing mounting brackets for Wilwood 4 piston Big Brake kit I just had installed on my P5? The SS brake lines that came with the kit work but don't mount properly with the said brackets.

Drove to the bank during lunch and heard a godawful squeal/screech that seemed to be coming from the PS front. As I turned into the drive thru it sounded like the wheel might fall off. Similiar to the noise I was hearing about a year ago (but much louder this time around) that went away after I replaced the front and PS motor mounts. Thinking it's the LCA or tie rod?

If it's only when turning it could be a loose/worn PS belt. Check your ball joints to be safe, but I doubt that's the issue.

You can confirm this (and rule out the PS pump as a possible cause) by driving around for a few days without the PS belt on to see if the sound goes away.

floor was just washed to remove the sanding dust from a few other house projects, the garage looks nothing like this picture now as i started to fix the wall that was bugging me.

Did you opt to just leave the floor the bare concrete? I know you had been talking about doing fancy tile dealies

the floor is coated in EUC diamond clear epoxy with paint chips to help with a bit of traction when its wet. everything will constantly change in there just as much as my car did till im happy with the space.

So just exactly how sticky should the rear wheel bearings be without the wheel on? I can't give it a little push and it rotates a few times. More like, I push it and it stops when I stop. No noise though.... I guess it's time to replace it. Might as well do both sides while I'm at it.

Other than that, I FINALLY got my ebrake brackets on. I only had to drill out the passenger side mounting bolt. The damn thing was seized in there (no, I haven't invested in a torch) and both types of extractor bits wouldn't budge it. A few drill bits and a nail set finished the job. Now my fun handle is back in business!

Swapped the snow tires on last night. Out with the blue and in with the fluorescent yellow. :)
