Did a little inspection under the car and found a 4cm by 4cm hole in the floor in the back on the passenger side. Grrrrrrrrrr.

did some stuff to my P5, it looks awesome so far, ill post pics once I finish everything. It makes the car stand out more by blending in...if that makes sense

I ripped apart the interior this evening to see how bad the rust is, surprise surprise it's pretty bad 
There's a photo in most audio build threads that I really love, the one taken from the trunk area showing a gutted interior. Inevitably the photo is always of a pristine car: no visible rust, everything looks like it came out of the factory.
Well, here's mine:
Here's the hole I found, I'm sure it'll be bigger once I remove the sound-deadening material (anyone got tips for removing that stuff?):
It isn't all bad news though, while taking out the carpet I found 17 cents and a brand new pen!
I also found a shiny bolt that I was hoping you guys could help me identify. Does anyone know where this 10mm bolt goes? I found it in the front of the car, on the driver's side. The trim clip is in the pic as a size reference.

dry ice is normally good for removing the sound deadning stuff

So you just put the ice on top of it, wait, then peel it off?

okay... I got my rear brakes changed, but I'm not getting any real resistance and no e-brake.... what did I miss? I bled the brakes and get resistance on the fronts but nothing on the rears.

Good luck, I went to do mine and the allen head was siezed up something bad, now I have brake issued. Looks like Ill be purchasing two more new calipers :/

I did the passengers side by backing out the allen, I also had to replace the gasket, is it possible when I screwed the piston back on that I missed something? The drivers side didn't have the allen, so I just screwed the piston in enough to get it back on... does that makes sense?

yea, just set the ice on top, then the sound deadening will get brittle from the cold,
I dont think it'll peel off but you could use like a spatula or something and chip it off
Yeah, like OG said. You have a 12mm (or 14mm) bolt on the back of each caliper hiding a 5mm allen head bolt you use to adjust the piston. Tighten it up so the wheel doesn't spin anymore, then back it off 1/4 a turn and you'll be golden. You can do this without removing the tires and anything else. Just jack up the back of the car to wear you can reach that 12mm bolt head and 5mm allen bolt. You'll see what we mean when you look at it. It's an easy fix and should take 15mins.
ps- hopefully that 5mm allen bolt will thread in/out for you. Like Sleezer said, both of mine were seized and wouldn't budge. Sometimes you can get lucky if you open the bleeder valve it will take some pressure off but I had to buy both new rear calipers for my rusty Ohio P5.

Yeah... a common purchase for us unfortunately. I'm on my 3rd drivers side caliper and 2nd passenger side.
guys, also make sure when you do adjust this 5mm allen, dont tighten it up super tight. just tighten it till it stops, then back it off 1/4 turn. I've seen many people crank these down really tight. they're not meant to be that tight. lol

Replaced blown Tokico Blue. Replaced torn trans mount on driver's side.
I had holes in the floor 2 years ago. Nothing new there...
