What have you done to your P5 today?

Daydreamed about driving it to the mazda traveling t-shirt meet/mt bike ride tommorrow at Memorial Park.............

^^^ Which ones?

Injen with dry filter and the TWM short shifter. I know a few people gave some nice options for cheaper intakes, but the I was ok spending a couple extra dollars on the Injen, not to mention, Ken from Protege Garage was very cool to work it. Maybe do some equipment trades with him down the line. ;)

Next up is wheel bearing and tires. Then if I still have the urge, spings/struts/rear sway bar. Not going too nutty with this car.

Good choice with Injen and TWM. Not too sure with PG and Ken though. But hopefully it will all work out.

(mswerd) I'm not trying to start PG bashing but I had one horrid experience with them and I refuse to EVER deal with them again.. Its unfortunate.

Changed the oil, replace the wiper blades, and replaced the door ajar switch on the passenger side.. Also, thanks aMaff for the tires.. you've saved me twice from spending the money on new ones (evil)

Getting one offs from dory?

I had a bad and a good with PG (got my exhaust from them in just over a week). Tires arrived at sears today and are going in tomorrow morning. Drivers side mirror should be in any day to match up with the new passenger one, still stumped about the remote start and hopefully will have it figured out after next weekend

installed half of my suspension today, kyb GR2 struts with s-tech springs, ran out of time and could only do the fron haha, the car looks funny with the back half sitiing so high and the front lowered, hopefully i'll get time to work on her tomorrow morning

Eh my two transactions with Ken and PG went really smooth. Actually got me an item from AWR which was a miracle... had to cancel an order from them once before and was really skeptical to get rear sway bar and endlinks... but Ken pulled thro

I bought yet another part from Scratch today. heh-heh. I should just forward you my paychecks and you ship me parts.

I'm not trying to start s*** about PG either. When I was new to the forum I almost bought a ton of parts from them until my friend got me hip to how it really works over there. But Ken always helps out with quick questions via text message from friends that know him, I have never met the fellow but I hear he's a good guy. But I've seen PG's work first hand and don't like it. My friend has his Protege worked on by PG. Standard hardware mixed with metric harware for the exhaust bolts, shoddy welding, more standard hardware cross threaded onto the rear motor mount and racing seat brackets that are way too high your head hits the ceiling.

Ok enough with the PG talk. Keep on topic.

Need to make a new bov pipe. One I made was too short after I moved some pipes around.

Installed SLS Catted midpipe, hubcentric rings, and tried to slot my BC's more, but I guess I didn't go hard enough with the dremel lol. Then washed the dirty b****

Just got my oil changed today and got it washed! I've owned it 1 week today. Getting a new wheel bearing this coming Friday. Tires will be next, seeing as the tires that are on it now are absolutely awful.

new tires and alignment today, all that's left is to throw on the projectors from matt when they come in (i'm guessing they are in the beginning of construction now) and put on the SS brake lines... still stumped about my remote start, everything works, but the starter just clicks, nothing actually starts other than that.
