Why all the mazda on mazda hate? Yeah FS-DEs aren't the best, but we all love proteges. And miatas are an effing blast, but some people care too much about image...

I have both and don't plan to change that.

put the rear door panel on again finally, its been off for like a good 2 months since i replaced the speaker back there lol

i read up on here that you had to trim the rain guard to fit 6.5" speakers in the back, i didnt have to trim s***, just threw the door panel back on, fits perfect and sounds aweessseoooommeeee

Same here, I didn't have to modify anything either. Maybe that's only required for speakers with a bigger depth.

Did the power window mod! Almost not even worth posting about it was so easy. Next I'm doing the moonroof mod, possibly putting in a relay for one-touch operation.

replaced the rear struts with KYB's. Right rear was bent from my curb hit last fall and that explained why the car bounced like a low rider on the freeway. No rust in the strut wells either, thats a relief. For good measure I coated them with rubberized undercoating (masked off where the struts mount). Back to being a smooth roller.

i was at 208k miles with no oil burning and my brother is at 180k with no oil burning
and we both dont drive like grandma's at all lol

I burn a qt or two between every change, and have since I bought the car with 58k on it. I'm guessing the first owner screwed something up...I think I have a bad valve seal to be honest. As long as I stay on top of it, it's not a big deal.

As do I, i ain't hating, i have both and also plan on keeping it that way. The miata's a BLAST, but the P5 is still run yet can haul everything and everyone

Saturday, I drove up to Bazooka Joe's house for a NEPOC wrenching meet. Changed pads and rotors on all four corners along with a seized caliper with Reitrof's help.
