What have you done to your P5 today?

Put in my Injen CAI, have to say it was pretty easy other than figuring out where to put the AEM bypass valve and get under the bumper and find room to screw in the last clamp...lol.

Didn't break any of the MAF sensor's tabs or brackets...lol.

It sounds pretty wicked, but it will roar when I get that JIC Magic Cat Back on there in a few weeks.

Needless to say I took care of taking the stock airbox out, which means my stock setup is mint and will be going up for sale soon.

Rear brakes and sway bars are the next project, unless my XenonExperts toys come in first...hehehehe.

^I don't care what anyone says. If a cop wants to search you, they are gonna search you. Whether they have to call in dogs or not, they are gonna search you. Cops lie, flat out. Not all, but some will lie and justify their "probable cause." And a judge will uphold it in court.

Granted I have seen people say no to a search and not get searched. But I have also seen people say no and 20 minutes later, they are getting searched anyways. Its just profiling/suspicion. "O that dog just smelled your car funny, we can search it now!" "I thought I saw a pipe in the glove box when they grabbed out their registration." bs

That said, to be fair to TWISFM, he didn't say whether or not he said no.

Sorry if I get on a sopbox about it, too often I see people willingly waive their rights (whether it be 4th amendment, and more often than that, 2nd amendment). The more we do this, the more the powers that be feel that is is their right to do what the **** they want. More people tell them no (respectfully, don't tell them go "go **** themselves"), the less they'll take the time to do it.

i understand your point. but i also see their point also. i got pulled over for speeding awhile ago and the cop said i was doing this speed and i said no i dont think i was going that fast. he didnt seem to agree lol. now apparently you can ask them to show you the radar gun and they have too prove to you that they showed that speed. well the fact that ive got an aftermarket exhaust and have been ticketed for it before i just decided to STFU so i didnt get hassled on other things. i knew if i tried to exercise my "rights" i would just get hassled and ticketed for other lame ass stuff. gotta know when to play your cards i guess.

side story: i got pulled over when i was like 18....got three tickets. not a single one for speeding. one was for spinning my tires/nusaince noise(whatever the hell that means). it was wet out i got on it didnt spin em in first....first to second they broke lose for maybe a few seconds due to the ground being wet(yes maybe i shouldnt have been on it so hard). next one was illegal exhaust and then i didnt have a valid insurance card(was insured at the time though). all the cop could say was didnt you see me there when you did that. you would have thought i was a murderer. had like three cops show up to yell at me....for not speeding.

Based on my experiences with police officers, I've learned that it's easier (and quicker) if you just comply and be polite towards the officer. If they insist on searching I just allow it because I, 1) don't do any drugs or keep alcohol in the car, 2) know I haven't done anything illegal. They will find a reason to search your if you refuse and it will take up your time even moreso.

So in conclusion be respectful and courteous, and complying will save you time. Also give the officer no reason to suspect you of anything if you are truly not guilty of anything. Just be cool.

cops....scare me... this was one of those dooosh cops... i just realy didnt want to miss my quiz so when i said he could i said ya sure... if you search it, can i go please?...my quiz officer ... my car def stands out from the crowd...he was just hating.. and i just needed to leave

edit- i was giving the officer nothing but respect and he continued to be a doosh... he was a yeller!!! power tripping...he implied i was stupid and confused

i just feel if your nice enough and hones they let you off..of course honest has can be meaning you dont tell them you did something wrong but you tell them everything else truthfully.... ive talked my way out of many a ticket beleive me... he also doesnt have me on radar he wrote failed to obey traffic control device...i dont even know what this is...plain and simple he was a dick looking to write a ticket for what ever he could...checked my tint all that good stuff.. only thing he didnt do was pop the hood...

Ha! Found the problem! I lost an impact socket during a GACC meet at my house in Georgia 3+ years ago. Turns out it was SOMEWHERE in the back of the car, and about 5 days ago it made its way into the bottom of the spare tire well, where it started to move around and make noise.

I was hoping your problem would actually have a more serious outcome. I already took out my spare tire and made sure nothing was back there. took out my 2 12" subs..no difference. Took off my sway bar...no difference. Im about to take off the panels that cover the rear struts to inspect the bushings.
Glad your problem was cheaper than mine.

so... I am pretty savvy when it comes to figurein things out... but.... my machine shop isnt... im having a block bored out and some internals thrown in... they looked at the block and called me asking me to tell them how to remove the oil squirters.... i cant find the info... anyone got it...?

and... should i go twenty thousands out?

Got new spark plugs and wires installed.

Almost shipped my stock intake to dxave, but after the little ups man tried to **** me with his retarded rate of $75 to ship it I said no. So that's getting picked up tonight and being driven to ohio to be shipped from there for way cheaper.

Got the guy to go even lower on the seats, got him down to $150, and I'm having custom mounting brackets made locally that will be cheaper than the Wedge brackets but will do the exact same thing.

Still waiting on the thunder header. When that gets here, an MSP exhaust (oval tip) and the header are being installed, followed by the AEM intake once PayPal decides to work for me.

Oh and most importantly, finally got to drive with the windows down since it's finally warming up here.
