Just finished clay-baring my car. Stupid sprinklers. They have been off for the last 6 months. Now when I decide to park next to the grass the turn them on. =( pita.

so after my dilemma with the intake, I threw the SRI in!

it still sounds like a vacuum which I dont mind, however one thing I noticed was that it may have a FS-ZE MAF as the numbers are different

one that came with the intake (and on the car at the moment)

one that was stock taken out of the car:

The MAF i bought off Mat on astina gt (that was from a Mazdaspeed Protege in the states) also had the same number as my old one, so im unsure if there is a difference or not, as it looked like the same diameter... but anyways the car still runs great

Shaved the side moldings, detailed it, got the msp running and went on a mini cruise/photoshoot with both cars...

What do you think about putting these Mazda3 seats into a red P5? Would they fit, and how do you think they'd look?

They aren't stained, just a bit of dust on them. Pretty much brand new and the guy wants $200obo.

Do you guys think it'd be worth it, and most importantly, would they fit? The front ones wouldn't be seated too high would they?

Definitely not a bolt in. There's some pretty extensive rail modification that needs to be done.

Andrew - Scratch has ms3 seats in his p5, IIRC.

And yes, the seats would look good with your red p5, for sure! Just gonna be a tight fit for the rears and I'm not sure how the rails work for the front...

Okay, so maybe scratch can chime in here... How much rail modification needs to be done for the front seats to work? I got pics of the bottom of the back seats (seat cushion), they don't look like they mount the same way as p5 rear seats, but that can be made to fit, right?

so just got a call, insurance is going to cover everything that was stolen (ipod, serial to USB cable) and they are going to pay for the fixing the dents in my roof

man im so ****** stoked, i hope i get a good amount of money so i can buy something good for my car lol i can live with the dents

Spent a couple of hours futzing with the P5 trying to get rid of a mystery bang/clunk in the rear suspension..

Foolish I have this same problem, if you find out anything more will you please let me know?

Ha! Found the problem! I lost an impact socket during a GACC meet at my house in Georgia 3+ years ago. Turns out it was SOMEWHERE in the back of the car, and about 5 days ago it made its way into the bottom of the spare tire well, where it started to move around and make noise.
