What have you done to your P5 today?

couldnt do anything to p5 today.
Still waiting for TWM Shifterbushings to arrive, as well as my AEM SRI i bought off of Skoozul who parted it out....its soo borring not being able to do anything :(

tell me about it.

I'm waiting on MSP Pedals, Mazda6 rear wiper, intake, filter, more TL projectors and Merc. shrouds, and my coffee can gasket for the stock header, and a new A-pillar for the driver's side

All that is currently in the mail(well, not the pedals and wiper)

Filled her up with premium again. Stupid gas station was $0.25 more expensive in the afternoon than it was in the morning. That equates to $3 extra over all. I only managed 25 mpg this time around too - not so good and I haven't really changed anything. Also added 1.75 mpg of oil... that was fun.

With the winter gas blend, I usually average around 27 mpg, according to my morning fill up this morning. In the summer, it's usually around 31.

25.99 for me this last tank...at one point i was down to like 21-22? i haven't changed anything either?(confused)

With the Blizzaks on the car, I drive it like it's a Buick because the tires take everything out of driving. BUT, if it snows, and we get some good accumulation, I drive like a complete asshole. It's really quite fun. E-brake slides around almost every turn, etc.

have you ever driven a car w/ the MSP pedals? I prefer the stock ones. They put the brake in a spot that makes footwork impossible. I couldn't heel-toe to save my life in 1, were as I could do it like a mad man in the protege.

I know what it is, just can't do it.

I have tought myself to drive stick, so, compared to most of you guys, yeah, i suck at stick

BUT, if i get into auto-x, it'll be in the Pro5 this year, then, if all goes well, a Miata next year leaving the Pro5 for DD purposes

I still suck at heel-toe,but I find it easier with the MSP pedals. I think it has more to do with the design of the gas pedal though (extra peice to the left bottom)...just my 2 cents, lol

yeah, wait till you put it back in the car!

Such a small minor detail but does wonders for the car!!

Yeah I put them back in after I took the pics, Did not take any in the car, Mazda should have done this, changes the look of the cluster from the bargain basement look to classy.

Pat.

My car is parked in the bay cooling down...while we are anxiously awaiting 2 boxes from atp and my correct comp housing for the turbo from crossover!

new depo sedan lights are on order tomorrow
TL projectors and shrouds already ordered

Retro number 2 is about to begin

I have gotten that low before on my old P5 on the highway of all places! Turns out I had a short in my primary 02 sensor and it would throw a code every now and then saying no signal.

I even did a full tune up on the car, new plugs, wires, coil packs, syn oil, syn trans, new pads, rotors, air filter, both 02 sensors and even cleaned the MAF and still never really managed to get above 27 in town..... i have no idea how in the hell people are getting over 30 in town..

YES i got my shifterbushings today. Time to install later :D
thats what im doing with my pro5 today

went to a body shop to see about getting rid of my rust bubble, apparently it was already fixed once but not the right way. figures! if the damn previous owner had done it right i wouldnt be having this problem!

Well I never got 30 in town but I toed the line. Funny though, as soon as I added my CAI my mpg dropped like a stone. Now I am lucky to see 26 hwy. What HAPPENED?!?!?!

your right foot got addicted to making the CAI howl. at least mine does. I still get 30 MPG at 60-70 and 29 MPG at 80 on the highway
