I'm so happy...and sooo tired!

Congratumalations! Man I wish I had a sunroof......NOT! Weight reduction baby!!!! Hey you guys, on the stock shifter for the "manumatic" shifter, can you replace that with any shifter? Because I dont think that it has the switch to shift from gear to gear right? Just wondering because I'm thinking about buying a shifter but not sure......and if I can and if I do buy it....iLisa...*whispers*...do you still have any shifter condoms? lol.

Oh and redneck, how is the car coming man? Is it all good to go? Or still working out some kinks?

If you have the manumatic shifter, it has the same threading as the Protege MP3 shifter. You can't fit ANY other MAzda shift knob, but you can fit the gray/black leather of the MP3 shift knob.

No I'm saying like an aftermarket shifter like a MOMO or anything like that, not swap one from another Mazda to my P5.

well yeah if it is one that just attaches with set screws it'll work. I just never felt like dealing with this. I have a greddy, it'a threaded for my shifter so it just screws right on and stays there.

+1. TWM FTW. Doesn't even need set screws
