What have you done to your P5 today?

Finally washed & waxed. Decided to take some pics, because next week my setup will change a lot. I should be recieving a set of MSP racing harts tomorrow and over the weekend I'm planning on putting in my springs and shocks. Thats assuming I'm able to get those endlinks off (I've heard stories).

Check it out:

*Nice wheel pics*

I'll miss my 18's, but they are too wide for me to lower it (they came with the car when I bought it).

I'll post up some new pics when I get the new gear installed.

What type of wheels are they?

The sound of a Mustang gives me chills... literally.. I <3 those cars..

I miss mine.. :(

Ditto. My 5.0 convertable had dual 2.5" straight pipes from the header back, no cats, triflow Flowmasters, and 1.5 foot long chrome tips. Damn that was an enjoyable sound.

^^ hellz yeah. sadly I didn't have time to dry my car before I ran to the autocross yesterday. I got up, washed it as quickly as possible, and then left. I had to be there by 08:15.

my car is in waterspot hell right now. I'll have to find a way during the week to make time after work for a washing/waxing session.. maybe even a little clay.

i'm sure you'll find some time during the week...

I changed my mod direction with my car today.. I'm now reconsidering going turbo. I was pretty much sure for the past couple months that I wasn't going to, but now I'm thinking I really should. I'd be going with the stock MSP kit, aiming for 160whp. I'm thinking I have enough supporting mods for that to be possible between my intake cam and full exhaust... maybe. I might just start buying up pieces to the MSP turbo kit puzzle, customizing it to suit my needs with maybe a small FMIC (could be cheaper than getting the MSP radiator and smic) and some engine management. I've dropped thousands into NA stuff for my car.. and I really don't have anything to show for it at this point. Yeah my car feels faster but it's still slow. I know even at 160hp I'm not nearly fast enough to be competitive in SCCA solo SM class, but it's better than where I am now. Plus, it would be a fun learning experience too.

I should put some mods that I've done that I won't need up for sale to push me to work toward this goal more. .. like my underdrive pulley and mp3 ecu.. won't be needing those. Anyone want to buy my spot on the custom cam group buy? The cams should be sweet, and if no one buys my spot I'll definitely take them, but probably won't install them.

Those cams will make great FI cams with adjustable cam gears  Welcome to the dark side.

yeah but cams = 680 dollars plus a ton for adjustable cam gears = I could already have bought a turbo kit.

True. You're not looking to squeeze out max power, so using your cam money towards a turbo set-up makes sense. Hell, CWill made over 400 whp on the stock cams.

I don't think a 60% HP gain over stock without any fear of blowing the engine is that depressing. Still have no clue what route I'm going to go down for ems though. I'm thinkin that'll be the last piece of the puzzle.

edit: spending over 2k on N/A mods to have no appreciable change.. now that's freakin depressing lol.

i have two responses
1) 60 whp being a 60% increase - depressing
2) yes. 2k on n/a mods and still running high 15s/low 16s (probably) is sad. really sad. **** dude....

(werd) Consider an MSP ecu w/ a Unichip.
