What have you done to your P5 today?

since you were parked it's not ur fault so the insurance shouldn't go up. if they try to hike it then there is a problem and something should be done about it (to them) b/c it's a zero fault accident (provided you were inside the lines i suppose)
Inside the lines? Definitely - I am beyond anal when it comes to parking. Well I'll just take the bumper cover off when I get home after work and see if there is anything I can do. If not, it's off to the insurance place and where I go from there I'm not too sure... I'll put up some pics of the damage if I can and then maybe you guys can offer your advice about that. Man, for as much engine work I've done, I really don't know crap about auto-body and electrical (not in this situation but still) stuff.

(Thanks for all the help, by the way, amsgator and redneck)

should've told me you wanted an rx7 a few months ago - my fiance's best friend was selling his 93, pretty much fully race-prepped too (about 450whp iirc). and for about 15k less than that one. my only regret is that i never had a chance to go for a ride in it before he sold it :( damn, that would have been a blast
that ones so expensive because its full spirit r conversion, with aspec parts as well, including the jdm touch screen dvd nav/entertainment system. soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot. i cant afford to sell the p5 now tho, so wishful thinking

Just ***** yourself out. You'll make the dough...eventually...

I changed my transmission fluid to Royal Purpel synthetic with a little bit of Redline in it. NICE AND SMOOTH NOW! I also tryed to change my squeaky stock power stearing belt with a Gatorback belt but it was to long. So apparantly Shucks gave me the wrong belt.

no prob :) yea i am anal about that too. i can't stand when people park over the lines. makes me want to park so close to their driver's door (like 3 inches) that they have to climb through the passenger side to get in.

It'd be nice to be able to do that and get away unharmed but knowing my luck, if I did that they would just slam their door into mine... Well it's being persistant in trying to rain here today so I guess I won't be able to take the bumper off today... damn. I'm really hoping this is something I can fix myself.

Someone backed into my Civic at the Chapel Hill Mall in Akron a few months ago. The stupid ass left his car up against mine. He was beyond ghetto parked, and probably took up a total of 3 spots, including the spot my car was in. Bumping into a car is an accident...but leaving your car upagainst someone else's is just asking to have your drivers door kicked. I left him a nice note saying something along the lines of "Thanks for backing into my car asshole." What an idiot.

today I installed my painted valve cover, replaced the oil pan (the old one was basically rusted through) and new oil obviously. that was a dirrrrty job, i really needed christina aguilara there to help me ;)

pics later perhaps

or now haha

Removed the front bug deflector, car looks so much better without it. Also paid an install shop to install a Code Alarm CA-180 with radar sensing, goes in Tuesday.

^^ Well after seeing how nice your front end is redneck_r_us I thought I'd have a look myself. Suffice to say its not going back on now, had a crack anyway.

Laser blue or stary blue is the best color for the P5. ;) Its a shame to hide it behind a bug deflecter.

If anything get clear rockblocker protection.

Air Diversion panel from Apex Motorsports
I couldn't resist posting pictures here.

Looks great! I've got one on both Pro's. It blends right in with the silver, but with the blue, It stands out with the hood closed. I'm toying with painting the thin leading edge black ...

I know what you mean. I can see it with my hood closed. My hood and grill are painted the same color black so it looks like an oreo cookie on my car.
Take a black sharpie and paint the edge.

Mine panel isn't brushed its still smooth. I got it that way by choice. I'm about 90% sure I'm going to paint it black with blue mica and several coats of clear. It'll be the same paint that is on my valve cover, hood, roof, headlights, grills & rims.

That weatherstripping on the front of the hood is like sandpaper ... so just a word of caution. I'm sure you've seen the back cab of a pickup that had a shell with a compression boot on ... and what it did to the paint. The worst offender is the 2nd strip, I took it off leaving only the thick leading edge rubber. My diverter still needs to be polished on a regular basis (not that I have had the time to do it lol)
