Oh I have a few she could tell you about but right now the biggie is the car. It has gotten to the point where she just says 'I don't care and whatever'. If only she saw cars as more than transportation from point a to point b. She still loves me and all but has suggested I should sleep in the car. lol

lol pretty much...I've been given the go ahead once we get our tax return...and then she doesnt want to hear about anymore cars...unless its parts for my current cars....but otherwise, no more cars!~!! 3 is enough lol

got the block cleaned, and all the pieces of rod bearings removed from the oil pan, now its just awaiting my appointment to get magnafluxed and sonic tested this weekend at the machine shop before i put it all back together and drive again.

It seems to be ok.. the tranny hasn't exploded yet, though I do still hear a very slight tranny whine in 3rd and 5th gear that wasn't there before :'(
I'll probably flush the fluid again or something when I get back up to Rochester even though it's pretty pricey to keep doing that with royal purple gear oil being like 10 bucks or so per quart.

Discovered we have a big-ass scuff on the front bumper yesterday. It's right at the bottom of the left side, like one of us failed to make a turn, or failed some kind of parking maneuver.
The only thing I can think of is that we scrubbed it turning left into some driveway somewhere, but the the scuff is more on the side surface than the bottom, so I don't know what happened.

^ ditto. though mine is nicely tucked in under the car cover for the rest of winter. however, probably in the next week or so she'll be moved from the top of the driveway to behind my parent's house. even though the battery is disconnected, i still don't like her sitting on the driveway without the alarm on; it's too easy to take her.
on the 626 front though, new winter tires next week. i can't really afford new tires, but this is the 4th winter on the nokians and they're just getting too dicey; it didn't help that they were on the car last 'winter' from mid-October thru the end of April, and 80% of the time we had no snow and it was hovering around freezing consistently. and as an extra treat, i'll get the garage for nearly a whole week starting next thursday. knowing murphy's law though, by the time that happens will be having balmy weather instead of the -40C sh*t we've been having the past week.
