What have you done to your P5 today?

In my hometown in CT it's a combo.. on town roads they use rocky sand because the hilly/moutainous terrain demands some additional traction, but on state roads it's 100% CaCl salt.

In NY it's excessive amounts of salt at all times. I hate being on the highway when they are salting, there's no way to avoid getting pelted since the plow trucks go like 45 and have salt spreaders on the rear AND sides. Ugh I can't wait (pissed)

been there too!(glare)

Isn't that the stuff they put on margarita glasses?

Don't drink and drive, ok?

What I dont get is..
we can put a man on the moon
change the gender of human beings
use telephones without wires

But we use the same s*** to melt ice and snow on roads thats been used for decades. Its also the SAME stuff that eats metal. Hmmm, I think its a conspiracy with the carwash people and the auto manufactures

That's why I got a winter car :D Morrigan is awesome in winter, but I hate how dirty she gets - and the increased likelihood of developing rust. So I got a winter beater to spare her the torture... though I miss driving her like crazy. :(

Oh, and here it's sand/gravel with salt. No wonder the front end of the P5 looks like swiss cheese...

Me...absolutely nothing. :(

The wifey did use it as a grocery getter (omg) while I broke down and tied up boxes for recycle and then drove the Vue to the in-laws to assist in the hanging of Christmas lights.

ooohhhh crap!i couldnt imagine living in that type of weather.i HAVE to wash at least once a week and even here in Texas i can do that all winter long cause the lowest it gets is mid to upper 30's(usually).i can handle that.

Took my son to the park. It was 65-70F here today, so we went to a park here in town that has a little zoo. The otters were out playing and so were the bobcats, so we had fun.

---what exactly is this mod for???

=================================

Finally got the oil changed today...no time for the SeaFoam though.
Got to watch an 80's gangsta-caddy on 22s erupt into flames. Of course, my wife had the camera, so I could not get a pic. As I drove by the thing, I could feel the heat inside my car...creepy!

Tomorrow is Turkey Day for my side of the family!
