What have you done to your P5 today?

Nice! I see a supertone!

Painted jdp rep lip and license plate bracket. No pics yet. They are still drying

Yep...Hellas FTW...you paint match that JDP???

looking good scratch. still not quite sure about the painting the splitter thing.

and why the only one crossbar on the rack?

As for the one crossbar...that is from running into the garage with my bike on the roof...I bent it...

Hey Scratch, do you have anymore pics of the eyelids? I'd like to see how they turned out.

BTW, I think you should've left the splitter/grille black. There is too much yellow going on.

I will have to find more pics...YELLOW FTW...Lol...

If you would have left any of the other 5 sets of wheels (previously installed) on your car and left the JDP lip black.....you would have one of the most beautiful P5s on the forum.

Went out and took some pics...

Installed a set of Satisfied GranSport6 carbon ceramic brake pads on my front MSP brakes, they KICK ASS!

I locked up the wheels when breaking them in, LOL.

they look good. i might have to dump the ms3's i got for the newer version!

That does look surprisingly good. Normally anything bigger than 17 just looks like a rolling mass of wheel with a rubber band on it on a Protege.

I think what helps it alot is that you can't see the brakes in any of the pictures. You see the car and you're like, awesome big wheels. Looks good. Then you see the brakes and you want to curse Mazda for using CD's as brake rotors.

Of course, that's the old school Protege guy in me speaking. Some of the new cats will probably disagree.

I agree, it looks great but the lack of brakes really kills it.

At least I got the MSP brakes on my MZ3 wheels so now it looks great, before it kind of sucked.

Yeah bigger brakes are really necessary for 18's to not look silly.

I think my next set of mods is MZ6 front brakes and MSP rears.
