What have you done to your P5 today?

So I tried ordering a Simota CAI from their website simotausa.com and i keep getting an error when I place the order. Anyone know where to find one? I can't find a simota on ebay and the price was $99 after shipping from simotausa.com, pretty hard to beat.

Drove it on a 4hr round trip to pick up springs, speakers, and an airhorn.

Totally unrelated ;) but the top speed is up to 200km/h (120mph) now. Last year it struggled to hit 170. since then I've done, new plugs and wires, aem intake, thunder header, msp axleback, new tires.

You hit 170 in your P5? (boom01)

the intake is still.... intaking but i want to move the piping around to fit what it was like in the ebay add (MAF between the two piping sections) instead of having it right off the filter which is what it was setup like on the stock "ram air" with the MAF right off of the air box

amen, why wheel hop. I get extra loss of traction but no wheel hop :P

Polished up the Mazdaspeed exhaust. Did final touches to the painted VC.

Just under light acceleration i get wheel hop. the tires are brand new kuhmo ectstas (not known for their wet traction i know) but it just hops like a freaking kangaroo

Swapped out the #2 o2 sensor with one of the "universal fit" ones, which meant that I had to cut and connect the wiring. Wasn't too bad, really. Also changed the oil and cleaned and oiled the K&N on the CAI. Finally, I drove it to Advanced Auto to clear the code from the dead o2, and now all seems to be well. While I waited for the K&N to dry, I checked the brakes and adjusted the Yakima rack on my 6. Not a bad Wednesday of wrenching!

Your's is also a manual. The autotragic transmission really limits these cars (not saying they aren't already limited by the weak FS-DE), and it didn't take that long to get there now. It actually gets there relatively quickly, feels much better :)

Installed the JBL speakers... well partly, still no door panels, but those will go on... eventually....... But they sound so good! so much better than blown stock speakers! Airhorn sometime soon, and springs next week :D
