Where did you get that grille?

it is a mintblue grill.

i got it from a member on here. bazooka joe. he had it on his p5.

it is pretty rare. i see so many autoexe knockoffs, i wanted something different.

here is a better picture.

looking good scratch. still not quite sure about the painting the splitter thing.

and why the only one crossbar on the rack?

also, why is anybody taking a protege up to 120 mph unless it is on the track?

(not that i am trying to be police here, but it would just take so long to do that in a protege.)

as far as i know, 90 mph is the limit to mine. (wiggle)

Going to install the endlinks from my group buy today. Front and back. Just gotta pick up those stupid expensive left hand nuts.(unamused)

When you're cruising at 70mph, it isn't that much more to 120, and it gets there pretty quick. But of course it was done in Mexico on a closed road ;)

i did 120 once and it took about 5-6 minutes crusing down a mountain in az in an 80 mph speed limit zone lol. in my miata it just went that fast in 5th then was like omg go faster in 6th but my dad was in the car so i decided to be responsible

135 in the msp was no problem...wouldnt go faster though it topped out

miata ehhh not so sure yet with the way its geared i would have thought 6th would top out really early but seeing as you did over 100 in 5th i guess it may actually do 140 in 6th

Nope. You'll hit rev limiter in 6th around 130ish... Not that I know anything about that or anything...

well... the ebay header doesnt facking fit.... lol and the mud guards i ordered didnt fit either.... kinda sad since i messaged both vendors before ordering and they both said that that the items would fit. their return processes are always such a pain in the ass... i have to wait like 3 weeks to get my money back. anyways i've learned my lesson, from now on i'm just gonna buy brand name parts.

if you would rather send the header out to me I could fix it... if you would measure how much farther it needs to be bent. Id only ask a small fee and shipping both ways. course this seems kinda outta the way for an obsolete part

what header did you buy and what wouldnt it fit up to? the ebay exhaust or other fitment issues?

this one

from "option racing" i paid like fifty something for the header and thirty something for shipping. looks like a generic obx clone.

the portion that meets the second cat is about 1" off, so when it's bolted up you get an exhaust leak.

ah, i appreciate it man. but i just bought a ractive header from Jspec. soo i'll be returning this one since the vendor is located only 30 min away from me. but if something happens and i decide to keep this one, i'll let you know. it sucks cuz the header was put together really well, but the dimensions were off.

and if anyone's curious on what it looks like, the pictures should be attached below
