Mine fit fine on my other car. If the center is completely separated from the mount then yes, but otherwise you won't have any problems. Not to mention the vibration won't be nearly as bad if the mounts are slightly torn.

No matter which way you look at it torn mounts aren't very safe, lol. And I say this as my passenger and front mounts are both torn... (beer)

The inserts make the mount one solid piece, making the fact that it's torn unimportant. It's hard to explain unless you see what a mount with inserts looks like in person.

What you tryin to say, eh? I ain't seen mounts w/ inserts b4? s***, son. I was raised on motor mounts w/ inserts.

I need to do some s*** to my wagon. I looked over it and I have 3 bad motor mounts alignment is out and the sway bar is hitting in the rear and all my front suspension rattles....maybe some other stuff.

Same here. Mine was the end-links, replaced those. solved the problem for a bit, but then it came back but this time was slightly different and i think it's the strut mounts now but i don't have money to replace them yet. but when i do, hopefully that will solve the problem. I think it needs new struts but i figure the mounts are a cheaper place to start.

I fixed my dash lights again today. One little tap, and they were back on!

Also, scraped off some frost for the first time this morning.

I need to buy inserts soon. I priced it from Corksport, and for all 4 mount inserts it's right around $100, which isn't bad.

How cold is it in Austin these days? It's been in the 20's-40's here in DFW this week.

The low is 48 today, it's been around 50 during the day lately. It snowed a little last friday, the first time in years that has happened. The coldest it gets is usually in the high 20s.
I really like the weather here because we have a very mild winter and i'm not a huge fan of cold temps. Summer can get hot but it's pleasant most of the time, and I love all the sun in the summer.

sorry to hear that man, i was a victim a little over a month ago. how much damage did u have besides broken window and hu stolen?? here's to speedy recovery for your p5 (drinks)
