What have you done to your P5 today?

Yeah I have UR UDP with Medieval alt/ps/wp pulleys. Just put new Gates micro v's on a month or 2 ago & they're just wearing in & needin a touch up. It just started a coupla weeks ago just right when you put it in gear with AC & turned into block or 2 without AC & that was it. Jackin up the car to crawl under was the procrastination point even with garage then a hurricane came thru & then it sucked enough to deal with it & now it doesn't make noise.

Why did you go under the car. The tensioners arent down there... I have the same setup except rrudp same belts which ones did u get? Its def the accessories that are making the squeal

You have to loosen the alt swivel bolt to adjust your alt belt and its easier to get to from under the car... just a guess.

Why remove the starter? You can get to it from the top, its just easier from the bottom. I've taken the altinator out twice without even removing anything other than the strut bar. Twas a b**** though.

Fun PM

Past weekend full of fun preventative maintenance:
Plugs
cleaned KandN air filter
New oil- and filter
brake pads and rotors.
Next up... my first big job on the P5- front strut R and R (with wat I don't know yet)

i've got pads and rotors on the floor in the garage waiting to go on as well as oil and K&N filter cleaner.

I just take off the starter and i can get to it just fine.
Ummmm.....no. I don't take other s*** off to deal with something else unless forced to. That'd be going backwards IMO.

That would be correct sir. Crawl under, pop that b**** loose, tighten from up top, crawl back under & crank it down, done.
