What have you done to your MSP today?

Depress the top left corner until it reopens...i think it's the top left, if not, top right lol

may be installing the Haltech today depending on if I feel like going out in my cold ass garage. May also be getting a decent size heater so I won't have to work in a cold ass garage..lol. But I need to go buy a couple of inline fuses first.

thanks, but i have to give bikingpro all the credit... he's done it and i loved the style of oem mesh instead of metal mis-match patterns

I used window urethane to hold my plastic grill to the DG grill as well, works great and allowed me to fit it the way i wanted. Can't wait to see yours finished

Hows the focus? Of all the americans cars out there thats probably the only one I would consider as a DD..

is more comfortable and drives better than i ever figured it would, I never test drove it or even look in it before i called the dealer and bought it. Only complaint so far is that i need more time just sitting in the car to learn the My Sync controls and setup that system as its more complex than i imagined.

I hate the obsession american carmakers have about the whole audio/video/voice/touchscreen/navigation/syncs with your grandmother thing. Im sure its cool and all but they could clearly invest the money elsewhere first. Overall I think ford is the only one on the right track though.. probably because their newer cars are designed by ford europe.

Get your ass out there!

Get your ass out there!

lol, I will some time today. Im out running errands right now, but was able to pick up the inline fuses. But a few errands has turned into an all day thing and I haven't been able to touch the damn thing. It sucks that this always happens when I plan something to do on a weekend. Any other time when Im bored out of my mind and my wife wants to do nothing but sit around and watch boring movies, I'll just sit around and play COD or play with the kid or something. But as soon as I tell myself "Im going to start on this thing tomorrow morning", as soon as I get ready to start, we have a million things that need to be done..lol. So, the install may happen either later this evening or tomorrow morning. It's happening before Monday I'll say that much. My GT30 will be here Monday so I want it installed before it gets here that way all I have to do is swap my blown turbo out, put everything back together and start the process getting the car running off the Haltech

Lol, I'm a quick worker when I don't have distractions. Now I just have to get the car prepped for the GT30. I may do that tomorrow or Monday morning

Yeah, I'm still procrastinating. I just spent money on a spin bike, instead of fixing the MSP. :/

Maybe I'll fix it around tax return time.

Installed: KartBoy Short shifter, Corksport bronze shifter bushings, Kartboy Trans bushings and Yellowspeed Coilovers.

Have to buy some new front endlinks, had to cut the stockers off since the bolts were seized.

Was too tired to adjust the height so will do it another day.

Question: Is it normal for the steering to be way out of whack after installing a new suspension? My steering wheel is at like a quarter turn position when the wheels are straight.

An alignment will correct that right?

Yes, and assuming you put everything in correctly, yes.

everything was put back the way it was, only no endlinks on the front, need to pick up some MOOG ones

Taylor what the **** did you do... you know you need a new transmission now right?? :p

Of course an alignment will fix the issue. It's totally normal for that to happen nub.

(as long as you didnt ass anything up)

LOL! Thanks you nub! I dont know how i could have assed anything up haha so its probably just the alignment off...

^Anytime you change a major component on especially the front suspension it will need an alighnment. Sometimes more than others. When I did mine the camber was right where I wanted it and the toe was all messed up.

Only thing I'm lost on is how to use camber plates. Would the alignment shop use them to adjust camber?

^Hopefully lol. Most places to, but make sure before they work on it. On most camber plates about 3/4 in is close to 2 degrees of camber.

Would the center point be 0 degrees or no? lol because I put mine right about there but the wheels look cambered lol
