What have you done to your MSP today?

AEM wideband gauge came in yesterday, now i have all my gauges and going to call my shop monday and get it in there to get them all put in finally ! Slim fan should be here by Monday i would think as well....
I agree. If you feel comfortable with taking on the task, ask some guys on here and I'm pretty sure someone can get you all squared away.

Are you coming to the meet in April at The Dragon?

What you guys think? Eyelids or not?

no on the eye lids, but a YES on the wheels

Slim fan came in today as well today. Well i wouldnt know where to start with the gauges to be honest, i habe to prosport boost and oil presure gauges and then the AEM wideband.... how long would that noprmaly take some one to do who has never installed gauges before ?

Boost is easy, since you just need to run a vacuum line and find a switched ignition for power. Wideband and oil pressure I would recommend having a lift to do. I think you need to tap the oil pan to insert a pressure sensor (correct me if I'm wrong) and the wideband obviously needs an 02 sensor put in the exhaust. Wouldn't be much fun on jackstands.

I have one of those prosprort oil spacers and it wont work with out a new nut that holds it in because of the oil cooler that the MSP has.

I've been racing my MSP at Texas World Speedway all day today at a Track Guys event, my instructor from last year is here again in his black 07 MS3 with a Cobb FMIC, Mazdaspeed CAI and MS Rays Forged wheels. Had a fuggin blast all day today and can't wait to get back out there tomorrow. I will be bumped up to run group 3 for tomorrow because I was getting stuck behind all the new Mustangs in the corners and then they would off and leave me in the straights instead of letting me pass but it's all in good fun. I am faster than most of these cars through the corners but once I hit the straights I get left behind, you can really feel the 200hp disadvantage. Aside from the black MS3 and a white Integra Type R (and a WICKED 500+hp GTI that may not be FWD) i've got the only FWD car out here.

They also had a photo op since there were 13 (YES 13!) new 2012 Boss 302s in every flavor, 8 street versions, 2 Laguna Seca editions and 3 Boss 302S race cars.

This is my first time at the track with the full size rad, FMIC, cat-less mid-pipe and SSAFC and I have been BEATING on it. 20 minute sessions going as hard as the car will go, 123k miles stock block, stock suspension, stock trans and the car seems to love every second of it and beg for more.

On a side note, the yellow Boss in the picture is called 'Blaze Yellow' and it looks a LOT like Blazing yellow on the MSPs, it has a similar pearl look to the paint.

(I apologize in advance for the partial Mustang thread jack, I know most people hate them for some stupid reason)

Sounds look a good time Hornsfan, I would love to do something like that. Though even with my low mileage MSP I would be careful on the track lol. I recommend a quick inspection of the motor once you are done, or maybe just swap in a forged one and be done with it LOL.

Yeah so i have the prosprot oil; presure gauge and the prosport Boost gauge, the wideband is AEM. I am going to have my brother help me with it, but we are not sure 1005 on how to do it. Is there any step by step threds on here that would be helpfull..?

I dont have excess to a lift, but for the O2 sensore would you use the extra spot they give you on the down pipe? Or would that not work? since there is a few O2 sensores not sure wich one would be the best to use or use the whole that there isnt one, well in my case where one isnt supose to be lol (put a used one there and cut the wires off, was all i could find to fit there when i put the Corksport DP on)

awesome pics, I used to work with the guy with the black and red laguna seca on the right near the wall in the last pic. He used to be in the Army. He's retired now which would explain why he drives a laguna seca..lol...die hard mustang fan
