What have you done to your MSP today?

haha no no one has ever told me that rick
You do sound like Danny McBride, and you are from Carolina, are you Kenny ******* Powers?

yea I just looked them up and wish I would of waited and saved up some more and got the whole package but I'm still considering in getting one it just might be a while. and yea if I do stay witht he stock flywheel I was going to go get it resurfaced.
It's a good idea to have the flywheel and pressure plate balanced at a machine shop so it will be true and within spec (won't chatter or wobble) when you install it. Most brand new clutches and flywheels are not balanced true at the factory.

That's exactly what KP would want me to think

What do you know about CP racing? You are one of the only others I know with some of their parts. I am just going to bolt the brace in but I can't find much info about it, one post from 05 and they guy never got an answer.

Ok so I guess I wasn't driving the car last night when I said I was only pushing 6psi. I beat on it on the way to work and it is at 7.5 psi.
Drive the car and record the data with a laptop connected to the SSAFC and it will tell you actual boost levels. I've spiked as high as 11.2 according to the SSAFC.

Yeah I may have to do that. Also need to wire my wideband to the ssafc. Then again, if I'm gonna buy a prosport wideband, may wait on that.

Anyone ever use a prosport wideband?

I've had one for probably 2+ years, no problems. I think the sensor probably needs replaced but that's typical maintenance.

I picked the brace up second hand. No idea. You should make duplicates of said trunk bars....or atleast one ;)
What color PC was your STB? I am trying to decide if I really want to drill holes in my car for the benefit of this piece. I won't install it at least until I get some decent hardware, chain hardware stores suck.

Awesome. Thanks.

replaced my old NGK ZFR7F's with a set of brand new and gapped NGK ZFR6FIX-11's...going back to the stock heat range. Also replaced my coil packs and wires...end result: NO MORE MISFIRING!!!!! Car is running better than ever. Next on the list is cleaning and oiling the K&N and a sea foam treatment on my next oil change.

To Do List: 1) Remove catalytic converter (rear) and have 2.75" piping to rear RB muffler/Corksport Muffler. 2) Replace A/C compressor. 3) Purchase and install slim fans. 4.) Purchase and install new coil springs. 5) Purchased forged internals for extra motor and build it before this one grenades itself.

Since upping my boost and getting a fairly decent tune, my oil consumption has gone way up. It's to be expected I suppose- 175k miles and the past 25k are the hardest its ever been driven and I'm at 10psi.

I got a new set of Falkens about a month ago and I had a slight vibration that I never had before. Normally when I put on a new set of tires, it rides so smooth, but not this time. Tires were the only thing we didn't do at my shop, so I really couldn't check to see if they were balanced. My new shop has a Road Force balancer, so I threw them on there last night before I left and now the vibration is gone.

^^^^^^^^^

Saw your car on Solway the other morning. Is that the new shop you're at now?
First Choice is where I'm working, but I'm at the Farragut location. I was just "training" at that location, but I'll be at that shop every once in a while.
