I dont have excess to a lift, but for the O2 sensore would you use the extra spot they give you on the down pipe? Or would that not work? since there is a few O2 sensores not sure wich one would be the best to use or use the whole that there isnt one, well in my case where one isnt supose to be lol (put a used one there and cut the wires off, was all i could find to fit there when i put the Corksport DP on)
yes put your wideband in the unused hole.

Okay that works for the wideband, does that conect to anything elts as well? (sorry if the questions sound on the stupid side lol) Just not sure and want to make sure i get all three put in correctly.

I am also having an issue where im thinking it has to be there wireing at this point, my drivers side head light only will let me use high beam, ive tryed 3 dif bulbs i had and on all of them the low beam would not work, fuse is fine, wires look totaly fine,,, have no clue what it could be.. any suggestions..?

bad connector? inspect the pins.

Just the usual which is a ground, constant power, and a accessory power. The only stupid questions in my book are the ones unasked. IDK what to tell you about that head light.

When you mean accessory power, conect it to a toggle swich or something ? And what about the boost and oil presure gauges , anything you could possibly help with explaining those as well ...?

Fitted the MSP with my own fabricated front bumper anit sag bolts. AKA bolt-washer-fender-bumper-washer-nut. Works awesome and no more sag for about $1.00. Oh yeah.

So my cluster lights still don't work in the MSP. The little cell lights do, but the tach and speedo don't. I checked the bulbs and they are fine. I even replaced them and they still don't work. Is it something with the printed circut coard on the back or what? Debating if I should just hard ire them in?

Sounds look a good time Hornsfan, I would love to do something like that. Though even with my low mileage MSP I would be careful on the track lol. I recommend a quick inspection of the motor once you are done, or maybe just swap in a forged one and be done with it LOL.
Now you have the perfect car for it! Especially with a warranty! Check out Track Guys.com it's a really good group of guys and they travel all over the country and do events like this. It's the most addicting thing I've ever done. This was my 4th time doing it.

Luckily my dad drove my car at the track and now he's looking for an MSP with a blown motor that I can build for him, lol. He kept saying 'its just like a go cart'.

awesome pics, I used to work with the guy with the black and red laguna seca on the right near the wall in the last pic. He used to be in the Army. He's retired now which would explain why he drives a laguna seca..lol...die hard mustang fan
Yeah he lives in Austin and has a DV plate and some Army stickers. He's a nice guy, he brought it out to San Marcos to Mazda Raceway/Harris Hill last month. There is a Mazda event coming up next month in the Tx section. I'm probably gonna go.

While my track car was down waiting on tires, I decided to put the MSP on the track to see how it did. Street tires and a general lack of horsepower made me feel kind of dumb out there, but it did alright.
I should have rented a transponder, but it was a new track for me, so there was nothing really to reference.

The problem was that at 70k miles, the valve cover gasket was on its way out and the heat of racing pushed a good bit of oil out. Also, my Axxis Ults which were brand new after the previous set lasted 50k miles without a single peep started squealing the very next day. I took them off and found out why. The kevlar backing to the pads which keeps them quiet had completely disintegrated from the heat of racing.

Disc quiet didn't help so I bought another set, but everyone was out of the Ult's for the front, and I had to settle for Metal Masters. I guess I'll keep the Ult's in case I ever decide to track the MSP again.
