Man I hated that he never got that car built. It was gonna be so awesome but I am glad that at least you will be using this turbo set up.

ill be doing something alot similar to his build with the built motor/trans. Wont happen for a while with some current personal stuff getting in the way but it will happen

lol yes it is i was watching an old school azian6er 0-100 vid in anticipation of getting this. the video is a thumper kit w/ gt30r @13 psi around 290 wheel. fast forward till around 40 sec's for the actual pull

man if i had 13 psi id be a happy pig right now. but id never use it cause 40series tires and our bad roads that never get fixed are just not good bed fellows. i almost s*** my pants like 4 times a day when i hit potholes i dont see cause they filled with water and it feels like i smacked a curb or somthing...

once the ssafc is here and i get a testpipe/catless midpipe in order, i might be ready to up the boost a wee little bit... 10 psi.. here i come!

man i was happy with my pro running 10psi on the stock turbo but lowered the boost due to fear being the next new member of the Zoom Zoom BOOM club...
nothing today or at least not yet... but yesterday installed my weighted shift knob and I like the difference it made!

Mine is now spiking 12-13psi, then holding 10psi, on stock bottom end. I can feel the J&S pull some timing when it spikes 13psi for a split second, so hopefully it will save my ass. That could be engine noise and not knock though, as the knock sensor for the J&S is lower in the block than where the stock sensor goes.

Eventually I'll take out the stock sensor and install the J&S sensor in the stock location, but I didn't feel like taking the intake mani off to get to it.

Ahh ok what you ment was you have the t2 series exhaust housing on your 3071. How is 25 psi on that ? Should be close to 375 wheel with that setup

Feels great... I think I would get bored under 4k or lots of tickets trying to stay in the powerband if I had something bigger
Topend pulls harder and harder up to redline. I'll dyno one day probably after everyone has passed me up with their crazy builds but I'm around 75% max duty cycle at 12.2afrs on 730cc injectors.

I thought about it along with the EWG setup but then again I need to fix other things on my car before i go a lot faster. lol I should be gettign a new suspension this week if all goes as planned or well at least ordered I mean... new struts, frotn and rear swaybar bushings, and maybe endlinks depending on the final price.

question for suspension guys. I need to replace the struts on the speed. Is there any really noticable advantage of the Tociko Illuminas over the HPs? Theres like a $250 difference between a new set of either.

I'm planning on running either of those in combo with Tein Springs.

I never autocross and the MSP is basically a DD at this point as my S2000 sees all the aggressive action.

Get the HP's the illumina's are nice for adjustable dampers but you don't really need it unless your are auto x'ing.

im just going to go with stock replacements.. Im like you and dont autox so the adjustability I imagine would goto waste for me
