What have you done to your MSP today?

shifted to neutral and my car died coming to a red light this moring coasting at about 40 mph. sat for 5 minutes and it started and ran just fine.

well, got a check engine light so i'll have to check that tomorrow

Technically it wasn't today it was 2 days ago but I traded my MSP into Carmax for my new 2009 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner. No more Spicy. It was funny too, I went to get it washed one last time before I traded it and the dude washing the car at the Diamond Auto Spa in all seriousness looks at me and goes "Dude, I bet this car is fast!" I replied with "When it runs properly... sort of." He then followed it up with "Nice aftermarket wheels, a nice wing! I'd buy this thing from you if I had the money."

Adios MSP section! I'll keep tabs on what goes on around here but I'm no longer in the club.

How much did Carmax give you? if ya dont mind me asking...

Finally got the MSP running. Turned out the bypass connector for my FIC had a loose pin, so I put some JB weld on it and she runs fine on the stock ECU now... which is bad cause I can't hit boost without bogging and fuel cut but at least I can drive the car normally. Whenever I connected the FIC instead of the bypass, I got a p0335 code (crankshaft sensor A circuit malfunction) but I checked over every wire I soldered several times and they are good so I must have another loose pin I'm guessing.

Good luck with the truck, I'm sure you'll love it. Kinda funny about the guy at the car wash

2,500. The engine had a major hesitation going on, the CEL (p2006), some major hail damage on the roof, a crack in the front bumper, interior bits in rough shape, and the exhaust was mostly missing (from the cat-back). I'm sure if even the engine was running smoothly, I would've easily gotten 1500 more for it. No sweat, just happy to be MSP-worry-free.

Edit: Also, 153,000 miles.

I already love it. That guy at the car wash cracked me up.

put in my rear sportline springs, jonridinhi gauge cluster surround, oil pressure gauge, wideband, amber turn signals, and a custom grounding kit made by jonridinhi himself.
