What have you done to your MSP today?

Yes that is in order too. Good to see my parts live on. Now only if my car would hurry up and disapear. LOL

2500.. jesus christ i would have picked that up off you cash money for like 3500 even and been happy. ah well, no question the truck will be a more trouble free driving experience, and more useful as a vehicle =)

totally converted the car today for a new look for the new year.

its funny because thats my car w/ the rx-8's not his lol. his car is the one with the bronze grids. rear wheel gap is huge because i just swapped in my rear sportline springs and they were no where near settled.

I was about to ask how many times you plan to swap wheels in the life of the MSP?

Sorry Valk, I had a very small window to get the truck. Plus, I posted my MSP all over Craigslist and the first few times, it wasn't even listed. The time it was, I literally got no hits.

the clunk went away after the bushings?

Clunk is still gone, there is some squeaking in the rear with the colder weather the past couple days but I think it's the spring insulators or something. Still have to change the front bushings and endlinks.

rear bushings only fix the squeek for a couple weeks. a month after i installed mine i was back under there lubing them up with lithium grease. need to track down a set of poly's for the front soon.

Just another day in the life of an MSP owner

how long are the stock rear msp end links? i know they're longer than the normal protege's but i dont know the exact measurement

7.5" I believe, the regular proteges are over 8" long. At the parts store it should list the length, at the very least it should say "sport suspension" or something like that.

Yep, my car is like a damn symphony. A friend asked me if I got a lot of road noise with my winter tires... I told him I couldn't hear it over the turbo, intake, BOV, exhaust, clunk, squeak, and radio.

My car still has plenty of suspension squeaks, plus the brake caliper on the pass. side is bad and it squeaks when I drive slow so yeah, I always have to drive with the music on.

Its ok. I keep music on to drown out the damn ticking when i accelerate under any load
At all. Usually goes away when the car is good and warm but im only a 8 minute drive to work so i hear it a lot.
Also. Since i upgraded to a spec clutch and put royal purple gearoil in , i hear a weird sound when downshifting the tranny and letting out clutch. If i revmatch and shift it doesnt do it.
So maybe my synchros are dieing.
Iys 2nd and 4th that do it.
