What have you done to your MSP today?

She only got the pass wheels though. Their both curbed to s*** and the fronts bent in 3 places and the backs bent in 2.

It's a miricle she hasn't broke any beads and had to change a tire lol.

alright i'm super ****** pissed at this radio. the mother will just not come out. i'm pretty confident that i do need 2 sets of din removal tools, however the left side comes out like butter, and the right side will not move at all. i even tried using both tools on the right side, but it's as if the place where they're supposed to snap into is completely stripped. my guess is the jackhole previous owner removed it before and f'ed it all up. my friend even tried his switchblade to pry it out with no avail. wtf can i do???

all you have to do is release the tab which is spring-tensioned into the radio... if you can get to any kinda way you can pull on it.. but idk why the DIN tool wouldn't work....

you've got to be doing something wrong....

take the din removal tools and slide them in the middle of each side and kind of lift up and pull....if you want try prying it out with the removal tools down the sides....

It will come out.

Just a FYI for you guys.

Ive had SAMCO silicone hose on my MSP for about 2 years now and they are ALL cracking and falling apart. Ive used no cleaners or solvents on them. I discovered this when one of them just popped off under boost and car ran like s***. Silicone is supposed to take heat and be better than those rubber ones but i think im going back to rubber. SO check your hoses if you replaced them cause they might be brittle or cracking.

Like you said, previous owner might have bent the tabs so the key isnt working right. Since one side comes out your obviously using them correctly. Try bending the key slightly either way so maybe you can catch it in the right spot. Otherwise you can remove the glove box and maybe peek on that side to see whats goin on.

Lol where have you been? CF dgm lip has been around a long time. They look great but I could never get the balls to actually rock one seeing as mine has seen its fair share of scrapes, bumps and everything in between. The urethane ones are ridiculously durable.

i'm hoping i won't have to dismantle the whole damn dash, but it might come to that. i just need a day when my dad and i can have a bunch of time to mess with it.
