Finally I found it, after looking in my 1000 boxes when i moved from Miami.. a priceless gift from a Friend of mine before he left the Mazda Dealer he worked for....

nice, but you do know we have free access to that online correct?

Sure i know, the bad thing is that if you need to fix your car, you can't print all those s*** load of pages and you can't really take a laptop with you to read what ever you need in situ... better to have the manual than online access..

Took it in for an inspection at the dealershit to make sure that all that had to be changed under warranty was done prior to crossing the 100,000 km mark (I'm at 99874 km). As expected, they changed an engine support. They also found that the studs on my exhaust manifold were lose....probably from when they other dealership replaced the cracked Callaway...car seems to have lost the fuel cut issue...for now....the rest of the car is still in great shape (except links and busings that are on order to be done in the next weeks).

ekkk.... valves need adjusting.... stupid car... argh.. i love it tho.. ne one know how to do this...? i have been looking and i realize that they are hydraulic... but that still doesnt mean the lash cant be checked and adjusted with shims....anyone know about the parts cost?

how could it not fit?

well i have professional mechanics do all my work for me and he told me that one of the rods or whatever you wanna call them (the things that come out of the sides to hold the b**** in place) was about an inch away from where it should have been. (uhm) i really don't know...but i've decided after this episode that i'm just gonna go all out and get a fmic sometime in the future. go big or go home.

I'd believe it if the car had been in an accident and not repaired properly.

no paintwork ever done to my car. but the person who owned it before me did some really half assed mods to it. i'll snap some pics of my engine bay sometime and show you.(notcool)

The best way to do it is to take it to a machine shop. They have special tools to measure the clearances. I haven't had to have one adjusted on a hydraulic motor yet unless the head had to be taken off anyways. They usually last a long time, like forever. How many miles are on the engine?
