What have you done to your MSP today?

on my way home from RI my fuel feed line decided to pop off the fuel rail. Lemme tell you how bad that sucks no the highway at 75mph in 16 degree weather.

it held for 3 years, dunno why it came off now. Its not the stock line cause i gave that to someone when i had my perrin rail but it was on there tight. Im just glad it didnt catch fire, the gas was ALL over the place, even the turbo so i was waiting for it to flare up and i couldnt do a damn thing about it. I would have died if my baby burned. Im going to start carrying a small extinguisher in the car for such events.

That blows man, that could have been bad.

But i finally got my new block in so once i get my crank the building will begin, Cant wait to get the MSP back on the road and to drive again haha.

Thanks for the headlight info. I was always curious why people would buy different version of HID's. I'll just ask around about the local laws and see. Does anyone even make an HID housing for the MSP?

yeah that's what I said when I saw that, but usually if you stay in the white or white/blue area cops don't bother you

In my area they are supposed to be super illegal but sometimes I swear that the cops around here are just there for show cause I have yet to see them do anything about anything

I have 4500k and its perfect for me. Bright white and tons of light. the cops never say anything to me and they are pretty strict on route 23. I didnt have to adjust them either they arent blinding. Maybe the MSP's have a diff cutoff than other proteges.

only weird thing about the ones I installed on my bros car....you have to turn the brights on for the lights to work...which is odd since its just an H4 bulb...oh well, works either way.

Ive never heard of that, was it wired incorrectly? Ive heard of losing highs but not having to turn highs on, cause then it would disable most factory fogs that way.

im calling improper install on this one ;)

Nice. Looks like I'll aim for the 4.5K or the 6K. (Do they even make a 5K?)

they make all kinds, however it depends on which company you go with as to what they offer.

I have xenon expert and i love them. Its truely plug n play and with the lifetime warranty (optional), you cant touch it.

lol it was on a civic w/o fogs...no real way to screw it up...all the connections are correct...so i dunno...

my HID actually looks like its aimed lower than the halogen it replaced...

For the record, at least on my Xentec kit a H4 "Bixenon" (has a high beam), there is a solenoid that moves the HID from the low beam focal position to the high beam position... I can't imagine a possible reason it would only work in the high beam position.

The only other H4 low/high beam setup has an HID low beam, and a Halogen High beam... I'd hope you'd have caught this on your own, but just in case..... if that is the type of kit you installed, I'd check the wiring on the HID side.. and maybe check the ballast/igniters.

Do any of you guys have any pics of the steering wheel with the airbag removed? I just removed my CC module from the wheel (P5) and I had to disconnect something and sever a ground. Now I don't have a horn so I want to see how the MSPs are configured so I can regain use of my horn.

Not sure why I had this...but here you go. Hope this helps and thank Forcefed if it does!

^^^ I was actually trying to find one of a MSP without the CC. I was able to figure it out though. The electrical connection I removed and the wire I cut were actually providing power to the horn. Well I severed the CC control module wires and spliced back together the power wire and plugged the connection back in and all is good. I'm getting some clicking when I turn the wheel but it doesn't bother me right now.

Is it bad if when in neutral i cant get my rdv to discharge when laying on the gas or get my car into boost to make it discharge?
