What have you done to your MSP today?

i drove it. what a difference 60 degree weather makes! i cant wait to lean it out a half point down the line, its runnin like a beast for 11 psi.

split second afc. out of the box its running 11.3 fairly solid. im going to put it to 11.8 and then dyno it and see where im at, i love how it drives as a daily driver so its almost all set, just need a better radiator i think.

Ok, im thinking about doing the Seafoam treatment on my MSP before i change my spark plugs...

that damn seafoam thread throws you for a loop...

Can you MSP guys that have done this before give me the proper way to do it? PCV or brake booster?

I always do it through the hose that attaches to the pcv. Disconnect the hose and stick a mini funnel in there. Slowly pour it in with your left hand as you are goosing the throttle with your right hand. Use 1/3 of the can and then put the rest in your gas tank the next time you fill up to clean the injectors while your at it.

I heard out of the box sometimes the super map doesn't give a good a/f ratio. I have AFC v2 waiting to be installed but after it's installed, i'll take it 2 a dyno to verify everything is good.

Pretty stock car thou smic/pipes/exhuast to stock axel back and cai + afc. I'm also going to go a step colder with my plugs when I install the AFC.

yea not every cars the same so thats expected. but i got lucky i guess. but mines not really a powerhouse, i went for the daily driver thing. i let it breathe a little better, i let it cool a little better, etc so the afc prolly wasnt thrown for a loop when i got it (like when people put on an air intake but leave stock exhaust, or stock smic and add exhaust so its not well balanced)

i tried to balance it all out and its paying off.. its not the fastest but its smooth and pulls all the way up.

Got the news this morning that I passed my State boards. I'm now the resident licensed Gaylord Focker. I've got the day off - dropped the kids at preschool and went for a celebratory romp on the test loop in my sig. 44 miles in 38 minutes (lets just say that the road does not have many straights :D) Things cooled down near the end and my rear bushings started squeaking like a mofo (I've got the AXR rear clunk fix brackets) I took a look underneath when I got home and I freaking melted them. Strings of melted urethane are hanging down (pix to come later). OK - looks like I held out on keeping them properly lubed since install. Time to contact Evolv for the upgraded bushings with the zerk fittings ...

well not new i did it two weeks i installed my own DIY meth injection and am very impressed with the bump in power it gave the butt dyno. for now its just running off the windshield washer pump but i have a MSD inline fuel pump sitting here waiting to be installed just need to get a water solenoid first

installed new awr rear sway bar bushings and added zerks.

Very cool.

Took my first unassisted steps today (knee surgery six weeks ago), and looked around my car (it was at a collision shop for two months) and it looks like the top of my end links broke, because they aren't hooked up to the strut any longer. So, this weekend I have to get the car in the air, take off the wheels, and find out what the hell happened.

Installed a Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller. I am in the process of fine tuning it now. EMS and dyno tuning in the spring (Saving money is boring).

Correct me if i'm wrong but exhuast/cai/smic/plugs is what the supermap was tuned for? (that means I should be ok) I'm still going to dyno and get a a/f ratio printout

Wow, kewl, liquid urethane. You will love the greasable bushings, quick lube at oil change time and long live the bushings.

swapped out my greddy type s for my friends turboxs rfl. its pretty loud, i think i like the sound. i cant tell if it does a better job tho. either way both of them are better than my non adjustable hks ssqv.
