i drove it. what a difference 60 degree weather makes! i cant wait to lean it out a half point down the line, its runnin like a beast for 11 psi.
split second afc. out of the box its running 11.3 fairly solid. im going to put it to 11.8 and then dyno it and see where im at, i love how it drives as a daily driver so its almost all set, just need a better radiator i think.
I heard out of the box sometimes the super map doesn't give a good a/f ratio. I have AFC v2 waiting to be installed but after it's installed, i'll take it 2 a dyno to verify everything is good.
Pretty stock car thou smic/pipes/exhuast to stock axel back and cai + afc. I'm also going to go a step colder with my plugs when I install the AFC.
yea not every cars the same so thats expected. but i got lucky i guess. but mines not really a powerhouse, i went for the daily driver thing. i let it breathe a little better, i let it cool a little better, etc so the afc prolly wasnt thrown for a loop when i got it (like when people put on an air intake but leave stock exhaust, or stock smic and add exhaust so its not well balanced)
i tried to balance it all out and its paying off.. its not the fastest but its smooth and pulls all the way up.
Got the news this morning that I passed my State boards. I'm now the resident licensed Gaylord Focker. I've got the day off - dropped the kids at preschool and went for a celebratory romp on the test loop in my sig. 44 miles in 38 minutes (lets just say that the road does not have many straights) Things cooled down near the end and my rear bushings started squeaking like a mofo (I've got the AXR rear clunk fix brackets) I took a look underneath when I got home and I freaking melted them. Strings of melted urethane are hanging down (pix to come later). OK - looks like I held out on keeping them properly lubed since install. Time to contact Evolv for the upgraded bushings with the zerk fittings ...
