What have you done to your MSP today?

installed new awr rear sway bar bushings and added zerks.

i'm trying to lube mines, but everytime i loosen the nuts up, the bushing is sooo hard to move, i barely move it down. but then i give up and screw it back up.

any tips?

Changed both accessory belts, swapped headlights, clear coated my track wheels, installed the track pads, camber bolts and removed the MBC... tomorrow I need to align the front end, finish cutting the rear fenders, wash/wax/sticker and check the fuel tuning. Then pack for the weekend :)

What am I forgetting?

^You think you can get a sound clip of the RFL?

wont be able to get on that till next week but yea, sure thing.

its actually not mine, im babysitting it for a friend whos not using it right now. its perfect bc he bought a 6 in pipe off ebay like i have for my type s so its a perfect swap. glad ive gotten someone to take advantage of that. 21 bucks shipped for a pipe and flange, killer deal.

ok, thanks....is this how everyone else does the seafoam? I read that it will only clean half of the cylinders when going in the PCV....this true?

Anyone else have some input?
I always do it through the hose that attaches to the pcv. Disconnect the hose and stick a mini funnel in there. Slowly pour it in with your left hand as you are goosing the throttle with your right hand. Use 1/3 of the can and then put the rest in your gas tank the next time you fill up to clean the injectors while your at it.

Whoever promoted this theory should decarbon their brain!
When you do it you'll see that the PCV hose is teed into to two other hoses that are connected in the middle of the bottom of the intake runners near the back of the head, which feeds in to all cylinders.

lol gotcha ;)

theres no need to change the oil after this right since im not actually putting it into the oil?

and the rest of the bottle needs to be added to a full tank of gas?

No its oil safe and compatible. You don't have to put the rest in your tank. I'm just letting you know it works that way too. If you do add it, it should be combined with a full tank of gas.

this be the right stuff?

My baby is sitting in the garage today...she was trying to overheat on the way home yesterday (would creep up to 3/4 on the temp gauge). I think it might be the thermostat, because there weren't any coolant leaks and the coolant level was fine...

Thermostat and we'll change the radiator cap too just to cover that...other option is there might be air in the system somewhere...

there shouldnt be air in the system unless you recently changed the fluid or have a leak...

We added coolant...like I said, guessing thermostat. Guess we'll check it out and change that out over the weekend.
