The white wheels definitely work for it man... good work.

You need to get a replacement fender so we can start doing photo shoots. I wanna play with another MSP dood!

im sorry i have to disagree, it looks cheap, and looks like every blue civic si out here, but if you like it rock it bro

lol. it's all in the user bro. i love it. more than the bronze.. keep in mind my stuff would look better if my drop was better, and if i had lips.. neither of which i have lol.

thanks jeff. it's gonna be a long while before i get the fender fixed.. besides you said you had photoshop skillz.

Sorry for the size but just to give some ideas... this is what Illuminas on stock springs look like. I was going to get some springs here in the near future because (even though I am broke most of the time) I am tired of seeing my car with a reverse raked stance. It's not horrible (and in fact might not be raked but the difference in size of the wheel wells makes it appear that way). I've never heard of iON springs. I was thinking Tein S-Techs or Eibach Sportlines. Probably Tein though. I'll have pictures when I eventually get them but this is what Illuminas do to the rear. I have no sub box, and nothing really weighing my rear end down.

Imho, the "reverse rake" is not that objectionable. I like it better than the regular rake, though it should be mostly about handling / steering. I wonder if your stock springs are just tired. New stockers might resolve the problem.

EDIT: Actually, the more I look at it, the more I think the problem isn't that the rear is low, its that the front is high. I'd drop the front an inch and it would all get well.

so what do i do about the messed up heater core? fix? replace?

You replace. It isn't a fun job but it's a lot cheaper than paying a shop to do it. I've never done one on my protege but I have changed 3 cores in my liife. I am no mechanic so you can do it too. I've done my old 87 s-10 blazer, my wife's old saturn sl2, and my fathers current expedition. The core is always buried up under the dashboard so it takes a bit of work to get to it, get it out, and install a new one. When you're running the AC does a haze come out of the vents? Looks like smoke but is just water vapor. I think Shadow102 might have done his core, not sure but wouldn't hurt to ask. And yes it has a hole in it if there is water out of it.

Actually I don't think I have ever changed a heater core...I have done lots of evaporator cores on toyota though.

Just hope the dash doesn't have to come out to do the protege one

not sure if it has to come out, but if it does have to come out i've taken my dash out like.. 30 times. no issue.

Like I said, I figure I'll just get some aftermarket springs... in time... :(
