Last night I pulled out the rear deck lid, unbolted the drivers side rear seat belt, and loosened the upper strut mount bolts front and rear drivers side. Today I'll get the car in the air and start pulling out the struts.

I made my s*** sparkle today :)

4 hours of detailing, and didn't even get to my motor bay yet :(

And I used ICE from armorall for the first time today, surprisingly it worked :O Wasnt bad at all :) lets see how long it lasts. First time I waxed the car in over 6 months.

Nice. I haven't tried that ICE yet. I like the Meguires stuff. Works like a charm on the spicy. I have trouble going 6 months without a wax though. I do mine about once a month to try and keep the spicy in as good shape as possible.

haha those 4 hours were the first 4 hours we've had weather decent enough to do around these parts!

Me, I spent mine dropping in my new walboro fuel pump, and after a few cranks, voila! A running car! So I then drive to PepBoys for some fuelinjector cleaner and upon my return, the damn car wont start, and no noise from the pump trying to prime. After about a 1/2 hour (stuck with my mom nonetheless) I make my way from the pump to the fusebox and what I assume is the fuel pump relay. A few jiggles and unplug and plugging fuses and she starts. Its always something, ugh...

Well lets hope she maintains till I get her over to r/t tuning for some engine management and a tune.

So probably not the BEST idea but yesterday, my car's accessories were on but it wouldn't turn over, just clicked. I waited a second. Was about to get really pissed but decided to go give her another attempt. Cranked right up.

This morning. I went to start it, accessories lit up. Turned the key and in a split second, everything shut off completely. I was so pissed at this point. I pop the hood to check connections, battery terminals, etc. The alarm starts going berserker. I return to the driver seat knowing the accessories are back online. Turn the key, cranks right up.

This afternoon. I was at my mom's work. I was about to leave. Accessories light up. I turn the key. Nothing, just clicks. I do this a number of times to no avail. So I am finally fed up and make some calls. My mom asks some of her coworkers to come and just check it out. Two rednecks later (both part time mechanics) determine that my battery terminals are too big for the batter pins and since the terminals are tightened as far as they can be, they go find a fork from the breakroom, they break the forks off it, and use them as a wedge to tighten the connection.

So, in all....

I forked my battery up.

Strangely though, one of the yellow tops I had went bad, like overheated, it was boiling, was right after I did the motor replacement after it stood for like 5 months, so that was probably what did it

those batteries are supposed to have a long shelf life..but w/e.. i'll be going with a small odyssey dry cell battery rated at like 700 CCA and is about 6inchs tall, 7 inches long 3 inches wide.. or something of that nature.

I just remember having one in my civic. I had two 12 inch JL's and a 1200 watt amp, and lights didn't dim at all. I was pretty happy with it. Perfect cold starts and all.

I miss my yellow top. Had the same battery in two different cars for about 6 years...I would still have it but its my fault I killed it.

Dale what are you using for battery and battery terminals? Not sure if you knew or not but all batteries have a smaller negative terminal so if you put aftermarket terminals on you have to make sure you get the correct terminal for the correct post.

Their on correctly and the battery I am using is a simple Autozone/Advanced (can't recall which). If I had the moneys to buy an Optima, I might go sport one but since my car isn't modded (like soundwise) and because I don't need something that intense, it'd feel like a waste... even though I know I'll get flamed for that comment.
